History Of The Panty
Erotic, exotic, naughty, nice no matter what we think of them the panty has came a long way since the early 19th century when they wore pantaloons under there skirts. In the 1940's corsets and lingerie were quite popular and Frederick's of Hollywood had open up there first store. Women flocked for these fashionable pieces of lingerie. The exotic new styles gave women a more sexual feel when worn. Flashy, colorful fashions were made more available, created in cotton, silk, satin and lace made these sexy little pieces more desirable to both men and women.
In the 1960's women became more open-minded about life in general and their sexuality thus beginning the trend of lingerie looking more like there own anatomy. Feminist complained that women's undergarments were to control and distort the appearance of a woman's figure. This wonderful movement caused millions of women to have a different outlook on their undergarments. Thus women's panties were born, creating a beautiful piece of lingerie that looks like the woman's anatomy.
In some cultures, panties have somewhat became a sexual icon associating it with being naughty and mischievous. Young women as well as the Pumas and Cougars enjoy wearing the risque' little panties as they make them feel sexy and erotic as they slip them on underneath their clothing.
The Classic Brief
The original cotton brief known as "Granny Panties" are high at the waist and sit just below the belly button. Many women and young girls wear these panties as they have came along way from being ugly and boring. They are made with many patterns, color and flair. If you own them embrace them they should no longer be called the "Granny Panty". I know, I know the picture does not give them any justice, but honestly they do come in color and patterns.
The Hipster
Hiphugger panties are worn lower with the waistband hugging the hips, many young women love and admire these little darling things. Personally even though I have an hour glass figure there is no darn wear you will get me to wear a pair of these, for some reason they are just not comfortable, but if you feel comfortable wear them if you dare! BlondePoet enjoys them, she left this behind after our trip, if only she knew I still had this picture of her posing. I believe you can also call these the string bikini.
The Famous Boy Shorts
Boy Shorts were based on men's briefs, yes you got it men's briefs. The ladies loved them so much the fashion industry decided to create the look for women. They have short legs extending below the crotch and coming in all sizes , designs and colors. They are made of cotton, lace, silk, whatever your heart desires. Lita Sorensen was kind enough to send a picture of how comofortable these cute little things are.
The Bikini
These have been around for years and are still quite popular and fashionable, the waistband is more narrow and is also worn at the hips. I am certain that many have at least one pair in there drawer somewhere and they are screaming to get out. Come on put them on, CindyVine did when she playfully posed for the picture, excited that I was going to place it in my hub. She didn't even have a problem showing off her tan line. The Thong
Knowing that you would be waiting for this one, I had to save the best for last. Commonly called "dental floss" panties. Similiar to Tangas the rear end is not covered and has a narrow piece of material extending from the crotch all the way to the waistband. They are sexy little panties that make your derriere' and the men go ooh la la la they define the shape of your buttocks and are actually comfortable when they are worn. Ask Pachuca213 as she was certainly not ashamed about showing us her softer side. She certainly did not have any problem posing for the camera.
As For Me
As for me, I would never kiss and tell so the next time you are thinking about purchasing a new pair of panties stop by Fredericks of Hollywood or Victoria's Secret you may spend a few more dollars, but you will certainly find what you are looking for after all it is all about what you are wearing underneath that can capture a man's attention.
So the question is, why do women wear a G-String because some of them enjoy them it is all based on taste and opinions.
