Abraham Lincoln's quote jumped out at me today. Opportunity does come when "preparation meets perspiration". This happened for me after several years of banging my head against the wall. Life is about growth and contribution. My contribution revolves around giving people a shortcut to success by learning from my mistakes. I have spent years learning what it takes to bring financial and spiritual success online.

Since money was an issue from the beginning, investing and franchises were out of the question. I have attempted several network marketing ventures with limited success. The problem is not the network marketing companies. They provide an huge opportunity for the average person, and I am an average person who learned to make an above average income.

I did not make an outrageous income following the leaders in MLM or network marketing. It's actually just the opposite. I got in huge debt and had very limited success following the typical leader in MLM. They told me to make a list of friends and family and buy so called "real time leads". After years of listening to these leaders, I found myself with a monthly check of about $200 per month and approximately $12000 In credit card debt. No Regrets because I did learn a lot. I learned what not to do in MLM and I also learned how to make an obscene amount of money through attraction marketing.

For years while I was accepting this advice from the leaders, I was also looking for other ways. I knew there were people making money on the internet, and that's why I signed on for in the first place. I signed up for every single newsletter on the internet. I'm on every email campaign you can think of. I have over 7 separate email accounts that have hundreds of info letters and emails trying to sell you something. Every once in a while I would actually purchase one. Great use of money! You can never lose if you learn something. Even if it is just one morsel, or one nugget, it could make all the difference in the world. After years of struggle and trusting that something out there would actually help me get some balance in my life, I finally figured out how to market on the internet.

Let me tell you a secret. You have no idea yet that one email, or one blog could change your life. If ever there was one, you are reading it right NOW!! I'm going to tell you something you probably have NEVER heard before. I'm going to tell you what your job is and is NOT in the world of marketing you MLM business.

Your job in MLM is NOT to bug your friends and family. Your job is NOT to call 20-30 "real time leads" a day until you find that one diamond in the rough. Your job is NOT to invite a bunch of people to your house to see the next greatest product. LISTEN!!! Your job in MLM, network marketing, or direct sales is to get traffic to your website. Sounds simple and it is. You may ask yourself, "Website, I don't have a stinkin' website." or if you have a website rotting away in the ether somewhere you may be thinking "how do I get people to my website?" Great questions to ask. Now you are on the right path. It is my passion to share my experiences with people who have similar goals, and similar struggles.

The truth is, you don't need to spend thousands of dollars on an expensive website, and you definitely don't need to go in debt marketing your website. I have made several websites recently and all I know how to do is cut and paste. I get traffic to my website by using free advertising, and free marketing. It is very effective and the best part is I never have to bug friends and family, or change out of my flops. (Closed toed shoes are not the norm in Arizona)
