I personally have always been a seeker. I'm constantly looking for ways to grow. A few years back I heard a concept from Jim Rohn that I took to heart. You must work harder on yourself than you do on your business. I hardly had to read any books when I was in high school and even college. That sure changed in a hurry immediately following graduation. I was waiting tables but I had that magic piece of paper that said I'm a Bachelor in Psychology. Woo HOO!! Needless to say that was an eye opener. I have read 100 times more books than I ever read in college. That lead me to Brian Tracy. I came across Success Mastery. Brian Tracy recorded a weekend seminar that is the most complete and scientific approach to success and mindset out there. I think I paid either $97 or $197 for a few years back and it was well worth it. I listen to this program over and over and it has made all the difference in the world to my business success.

People from all over the world come to the United States with nothing to declare at customs and move on to have great success. Brian Tracy speaks of a gentleman from Korea names John Wu. (not sure of the spelling as I listened to the transcript) He came this country with nothing to declare and built a billion dollar company in 12 years, with nothing but his mind and ambition. Jim Rohn says becoming a self made millionaire, is wonderful for the money purpose, but it is the person you have to become is the most important of all. To become an exemplary person financially, you must become an exemplary person.

And as you are thinking about how you wish you could do that, you will become really interested to find out how easy it is to have success online today. Brian Tracy has studied The law of correspondence... "As within, so without." Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. Everything you have in your life you have because of the person you are on the inside. Your relationships, your finances, your debt, your wealth, your anger, etc. Wherever you go there you are. If you can change what is going on in your inner world, you can dramatically change what's going on in your outer world. There is no other way! Successful people are very clear on where they are going and what they want. Unsuccessful people are very fuzzy and confused. Brian Tracy does a great job in Success Mastery scientifically approaching this topic.

The flip side is, there is no other way. You can not change your outer world without changing what is going on inside of you. That means you have a huge opportunity to accomplish great things by working on yourself. You have total control. You can not be angry, unhappy, frustrated, and ignorant on the inside and have a happy, affluent, successful life on the outside. You can not change the external world. You have to go to work on yourself. I used to try to control the outside world. I found that I would have more success lifting my F250 off the ground with one hand, than change the another person to suit my world. Sometimes you have to let go of some of the people, and things you are attached to, to move forward in life. Does that make sense?

Why is it that some people are more successful than some others? The bible says, "Seek and ye shall find, for all seek, findeth." The future belongs to the seekers. More on Brian Tracy tomorrow. Come see our next post.
