The rarest of souls within the universe are those who love without conditions, provide emotional support without judgement, begrudge nothing, and give openly, these are true mothers. Their true gift is that they see the greater good needed in the world; and they strive towards it at all costs, Oprah Winfrey is enlightened with this gift.

A choice is made to mother a few or become a mother to many; I have been lucky enough to have seen this incredibly rare selfless act during the course of my life. This sacrifice was made by Oprah; shining brightly her message of universal loving spirit is continuously repeated for all to see.

With this incredible inner understanding she moves heart first for the betterment of the underprivileged. One of her amazing commitments was creating a school in South Africa near Johannesburg. Giving back and nurturing the community by creating leaders of tomorrow is the main goal of the The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls .

were hand-picked out of 484 applicants to attend the school.

The school opened in January of 2007; the students experienced growing pains as they excelled towards escaping traditionally oppressive situations. Mother Oprah was there for all of them supplying each one with a cellular phone and her personal phone number on speed dial if they needed anything. Not once did Oprah waver with her parental commitment; always being emotionally supportive; intuitively understanding that they needed her personal attention in order to excel.

Reaching out the girls have gone into the community visiting orphans, growing food, raising awareness on breast cancer and tenderly spending time with the alone aging population. Their stand-in-mother Oprah clearly has made a lasting impact as a role model for them. They are demonstrating their clear desire of life commitment in service to others, no matter the calling.

A solid supportive foundation in life is the most basic building block for a child or any human being. All too many times accessing basic needs can not be met; in order to meet these needs Winfrey began the Oprah's Angel Network in 1998. Through this network she has continuously changed the lives of thousands around the world; her Universal Mothering sees no boundaries.

Coming to the aid of her community she revitalized the spirits of thousands. Building homes in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama in under a year after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita ravaged the United States.

Oprah has the ability to see and feel exactly what children have gone through as she was a victim of child abuse and grew up in poverty. Having this clear empathetic view she campaigned in 1991 for a national database of child abusers. Finally in 1993 the President signed Oprah's Bill establishing the National Child Protection Act. It is a registry of convicted child abusers; having it in place protects the lives of children in the United States alerting people to possible predators in the community.

A party was hosted by Oprah in December of 2002 for 124 AIDS orphans on the outskirts of Johannesburg near Soweto in South Africa. The children were extremely impoverished and suffered from discrimination, neglect, and abuse; for a number of these children this was their first exposure in receiving a Christmas present. Singing, dancing, and food were plentiful for them on this incredibly wonderful evening Oprah had created for them.

Continuing through with her deeply rooted understanding of a child's suffering confusion she developed an orphanage, an AIDS hospice, and a young woman's hostel in Africa to alleviate some of their pain. Her incredible ability to be a stand-in-mom has never stopped; she travelled again and played Mrs. Claus to over 50,000 African children; easing the suffering by creating a moment of much needed happiness.

Winfrey's "Oprah's Angel Network" has climbed incredible mountains in funding for "Keep a Child Alive". This is a US based non-profit organization providing ARV s (antiretroviral medications) that are designed to provide life-saving medicine to children and families living with HIV/AIDS in South Africa.

Seeing this plight, Oprah has taken the helm and is leading the way through the darkness and creating light, out of her unconditional value for all human life.

Oprah you are the most incredible woman alive upon the planet today, you have helped change the face of the human race for the better. Your sacrifice by not having children, yet showing love to all is extraordinarily astonishing.

If more human beings upon the face of the earth could see into the eye of the human spirit as you have; we would all have a better existence.
