When I think of the big "G" and I am not talking about GOD but the other big "G" i.e. GIVING, there is only one person outside of GOD who comes to mind and that is OPRAH WINFREY. When you can honestly say "I know what my purpose is in life and fulfill it" then you are truly walking in your destiny. I must say Oprah is definitely walking in her divine purpose. Oprah has this way of just literally telling God in her own words "Lord I got it today, you can take a day off. I got your back." I truly believe the reason she has such a gigantic ability to give is because she gives, and then she gives again, and then she gives some more and just when you think that she couldn't do anything else she out gives the last thing she gave. I mean if you think about it Oprah has given away money, cars, clothes, home appliances, vacations, an education, and just recently this year given away food to the entire world. I know there were celebrities that don't even eat chicken that took advantage of that offer just because it was free. I sometimes think to myself what is Oprah going to come up with next. I mean does she like go in her prayer closet and say "Okay God what's next on your to do list." I mean I am of course speaking figuratively, but I must admit she is always trying to find a better way to help everybody. How many people do you know sit and think of ways to help everybody that they come in contact with in some small way. Granted Oprah is disgustingly rich; I know, but I do believe even if she didn't have the means to give on the level that she gives that she still would be giving in some capacity.

Oprah truly inspires me, but not only does she inspire me to be a better individual, but she inspires me to want to give. Now don't get me wrong cause God inspires me and liberates me to give as well and I don't want to ever take away who he is in my life cause no one holds a candle to him. Even Oprah on her best day can't touch my Heavenly Father (just had to put that disclaimer out there- Smile! No offense Oprah, but you can't get me into Heaven I don't think. LOL!) In this earthly realm Oprah truly stands in the gap to help get God's message to the masses. I must admit I don't have a pot to piss in nor a window to throw it out, but when I tell you anything that I do have I strive to give it. I think it frustrates me so much that now in my life when I get that concept  I can't do the things that I would like to do. I know so many people that need so much whether its tangible or intangible things and I wish that I could do more. I do know that when God affords me to do more things that I will be a better steward of my money. I won't just pay my bills and buy wants and needs selfishly, I will remember when I didn't have and I will give more in  monetary contributions. Even though I give the things I have now which isn't much but I still try to give every chance I can. However, I now know what else I should do with what God gives me besides give it back to him i.e. tithe. I now understand that what God gives us, he lends it to us not only for ourselves but for us to give to others in some way.

I thank God for allowing Oprah to enter into our homes everyday at 4pm to be a vessel or a catalyst to stir up something in our spirits and awake that thing on the inside of us that pushes us to another level of wanting to be better. Maya Angelou said it best "I have found that among its other benefits; giving liberates the giver." I truly think that God wanted us to do many things, but the 4 most important things he wanted us to do is LOVE HIM, LOVE OTHERS, FORGIVE, and GIVE. I believe that when we as a people get those 4 things in our spirits without any contingencies we can truly live our life to the fullest.
