These days the only way you can create a Highly effective Opt-In campaign is if you are truely serious about making money online. You are competing against the masses. Hundred's of thousands of people and to make it even more difficult we're talking world wide.

Run Forest, Run!! Let's face the facts, these days, getting people to buy anything online, is far from being an easy task. It would require the knowledge of the seasoned sales-a-holic who could sell ice to an Eskimo.

Lets begin. So you have this fancy, flashy, full of wonderfull useful things Website. So What, so does 9,000,000 other people. Having a great website guarantees nothing if you can't get anyone to see it. Your website is just one grain of sand in the Sahara Desert.

One of the most Highly Effective ways of marketing is to start building an Opt-in list. Ask any Guru or Super Affiliate and they will utter these words till their dieing day "The Money's In The List" (well the money isn't really in the list,but that's a horse of a different color),it is one of the most important tools to make your marketing truly effective.

Just to cover the basics, an Opt-In list is a list of email addresses of which the owners of the addresses, have agreed or requested to have information delivered to them via email. If they have not requested or agreed then it becomes spam, and as we are well aware that spam on the Internet is an illegal activity. An Opt-In list is a vital tool that one must have in order to get your message across the a mass audience who has asked for information or is interested in what you have to say or sell. This is also known as a little jewel called "Targeted Opt-In" (your bread and butter,so to speak)

Imagine having a Jewel like an Opt-in list, better yet an Opt-In list of people who have bought from you before. You can, at any time, Blast a new product, software or new information to your list and have sales start flowing in within seconds, I kid you not.'

That is why any Entrepenuer,Guru, Super Affiliate and the like, guard their list like a squirl and its nuts. Hopefully that will give you an idea of the importance of one having such a list.

How do you get a Highly Effective Opt-in list? Let's give it a "KISS" (Keep It Simple Sweetie) For the sake of simplicity lets break it up into three seperate events:

First:You need to decide your niche or your target market. Once you have done that do some research on Google, yahoo, altavista or which ever is your favorite for searching, to see if what you have chosen is even a market that would be profitable. If so then you are ready to go.

Second:Think of nothing but building your list. I know it's tough to do with all the fancy, hyped, I'm gonna make you millions by noon, crud that's out there to distract you. Ignore them, you have a mission...."The List". Don't get greedy and try to start selling you will be highly disappointed and we don't want that. Start by using Safelists. They are double Opt-in lists some of these services I have used that have been successful are Globalsafelist.com, Europeansafelist.com, listbandit.com and gotsafelist.com. You can join them for free and they will allow you to mail to their lists usually once a week or sometimes every other day. If you upgrade you can mail daily etc.

Do not try to sell something to this list remember your mission is to have your own opt-in list so send a "valuable" freebie to them by using a "squeeze page" which asks them to give you their name and address in exchange for the valuable freebie. Do not offer any junk this will kill your efforts from the get go.

Third:Rinse and Repeat. Do this with all the safelists, Traffic Exchanges and ad's that you place, to really start building your little grain of sand into its own full desert
