There are so many products which are synthetically made that can produce VOCs (volatile organic chemicals). Many of the items are things that you will purchase for your baby’s room. You can make your nursery safer by buying all organic items from baby bedding to paint; and it is easier than you think.

As more and more information becomes available on the harmful effects of chemicals on the human body more items are being created in organic, non-toxic versions. This is especially important for babies as their systems are still developing rapidly.

Paint for the Organic Baby Nursery

Why use organic paint? Paint is one of the leading factors to indoor air pollution. It releases high levels of VOCs into the air for years after its application and is among the top 5 hazards to human health. Until recently VOCs were an essential element to making paint. However the high demand for low-VOC or no-VOC paint forced the companies to fill the demand. These paints are more expensive but they are also more durable and safer for the environment and for people. Organic paint can be found at your local Home Depot store as well as other home imporvement stores and online.

The benefits of organic paints are:
