Organic Pest Control
Organic pest control is rapidly becoming a front-line weapon in the battle to preserve our planet. Not only are chemical pesticides polluting the earth, they can damage our health also.
The huge number of highly toxic pesticides used today to control pests expose the population to unnecessary health problems. A quote from the UK Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food says that a day's water supply for 200,000 people could be polluted by just one tablespoonful of pesticide concentrate. That's a frightening prospect.
Many of us use pesticides as a garden pest control because of their availability and ease of use, but think of all those unused pesticides stored in around the house. How do we get rid of them? What about the risk to people, especially children?
What organic pest control methods can you use? Introduce natural predators like ladybirds; block up holes where pests reside; protect with mesh screens etc.; planting to discourage like lavender for slugs. There are natural pest control sprays that you can make-up yourself or buy.
It stands to reason that using a natural pest control system as a garden pest control method is the way ahead to safeguard our planet and the population.

I agree with you... organic is the way to go... takes longer to do but the best long term solution.
