I think Orla's from another time. When you hear her sing, it's almost like you get the sense that she was actually around to hear these minstrel songs for the first time.
If you haven't heard her solo album yet, go find it. You won't be disappointed if you like soft beautiful Irish music.
Orlagh is no doubt, a great singer. I love Isle of Innisfree and Carrickfergus. She plays the harp with great emotion and from the bottom of her heart, and this combination, together with her warm and beautiful voice, toch my soul to the bone.
wow your fab . have to be the most talented bunch of cailins ever and sexy of course
What takes a million years to smooth the sharpest stone she does in seconds with her sweetness of sound. I stop, in my tracks to hear what rest sounds like. She is my favorite.

wowwwwwww really amazing hub, great work........!!!
I have played music for 42 yrs and I have never heard such a mystical haunting voice as Órla's. She reaches the depths of your soul with songs. I just listened to the PBS Celtic Woman special 11/30/2009 without Órla in it. Celtic Woman has lost it's flavor with her leaving and has a hole left in it so large that I feel it can't be filled by any other person but Órla. It kind of reminds me of a Band playing and the bass player quits in the middle of the song. You can feel that something vital is missing without it.

I've seen Orla perform in person. Her singing talent is a delight. Beautiful Irish accent. Her harp playing is unbelievably pure, straight from the heart. Her movements flow with the music along with her voice. Her performances are so graceful. Four and five part harmony no problem for her, right on key! She is and Irish treasure one of a kind. I'm looking so foreword to meeting her this spring, '08. I love her accent and hope for her future success. Love you Orla.
