Let your local grocer know you won't tolerate ADDITIVES !

for Tuesday August 25 2009//1st in series for Healthy Eating 101+ Additives

I am circulating this hub in the hopes of sparking your explorative curiosity into the foodstuffs you and your furried babies ingest. This is specifically for your FELINE's Health.

Oh boy its chickennnnnnnnnnnn,yum !

Kitty LOVES this

for my furried babies

I am a label reader as most of you may know by now. Taking that into consideration I also love to write in places where I am certain my material will get read and commented on. MSN Spaces is one of the places, Epinions another and a slew of others. For right now, this hub is to be used to EDUCATE !

Most wheels of very expensive cars are taken well care of, same with this hub of the revolutionary wheel I am spinning on consumer awareness. Did you know that half of the products we humans ingest, as well as those eaten by our furried babies, are hazardous, toxic to our/their health ? It is in the practise of using these dangerous additives that get me about distributors, local retail store owners and the clerks who work for these places who KNOW these additives are in their products and do not care. It is profit, pure and simple profit.

If the store-owner, the distributor of the manufactured good made with bad, sells this stuff, stocks it knowingly on his shelf, he is guilty and should be held as responsible as the employee who used red dye #40 or FD&C yellow #5 or #6 INSTEAD of the healthy annato seed. The attention I bring to this hub is that the direction it is moving is toward change, serious hurtful change. It will affect the store clerk/owner who now has excess amounts of inventory on his shelf because customers were beginning to read labels more carefully. That owner/store clerk was given a damaging 'wake-up' call unless he can sell the un-wanted product--thats the hurtful part of this grim reality.

However, you as the consumer with label in hand and some reasonable fascimile of 'smarts', you can approach the subject more diplomatically and make the message loud and clear in action not just verbal complaint. I have mixed my mission with passion to drive awareness to the American consumer about what is safe and healthy for ourselves and our pets, and what is not. The three products featured above are dye free and chemical-and additive free; therefore offering a health-conscious consumer a more sound attitude towards deciding to purchase this or not.

I hope you read labels as I do and become familiar with terms like 'crude analysis', 'meat-by-prodyucts', recommended daily allowances, lipids, proteins, carbohydrates and sugars. The computer is full of wonderful places like hubpages.com that offer valuable information about revolutionary involvement. I urge you to get involved with the agricultural aspect of the human condition and your body as well as your 'furried babies' will LOVE YOU FOR IT !

sharing the light,

It just amazes me the amount of toxic garbage that is allowed to be sold to Americans!

Then we suffer the life threatening consequences while the manufacturer has the option - but is not required to - recall the products. It is past the time when we need to take control of our health, the health of our sentient friends, our water, our air...

Thanks for making these demands which I share with you!
