Hi, I'm Leslie and I wanted to hopefully save you some headaches (and money!) by telling you what we've found out about getting discount Disney World tickets.

Right now, I'm typing this from the Polynesian Isles timeshare resort in Kissimmee, FL while we're on our Disney World vacation. My husband, 2 kids (3 and 5), mother, and myself are here for a 7 day stay.

If you've never been to the Disney World resort area before, there's one street that's a lot like Gatlinburg, TN (if you've been there!) -- Hwy 192. There's lots of attractions, restaurants, and...signs offering DISCOUNT DISNEY WORLD TICKETS. (I put it in caps because that's how the signs are...they're everywhere!)

We wanted to go to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede on Monday and I was kinda freaked out by these places screaming about the great deals they had, so I decided to look for something on the internet instead.

I found a site (which I will keep nameless) offering discount tickets to the show. The price looked better than anything I had seen up to that point, so I decided to save the delivery fee and go pick 'em up myself.

When I followed the Mapquest directions to the place, I was sent to one of those places with the screaming discount Disney World tickets banners! Surprisingly, it wasn't what I expected at all.

The people were actually nice...BUT, they failed to tell me about the taxes that were added on to the final price. Granted, across 3 adult & 2 children tickets it wasn't all THAT much $$ (about $8-$10), but I would have liked to have known upfront.

When we decided we would hit Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, I decided to deal with a more 'honest' company. After more Google searching for tickets, I came across MapleLeafTickets.com.

I found exactly what we were looking for, booked online, and picked up the discount Disney World tickets at their office. I'm confident we got the best deal, all taxes were included in their low prices, and best of all -- no surprises!
