Interactive Fun and Learning Games
Lately, our toddler/preschooler (who's 3) has really been interested in the internet and playing games. So, I decided to sit him down and show him how to use a mouse and found some diferent online toddler sites for him to play games on. Our favorites are ones with characters he already knows - from his favorite TV shows! (My favorites are anything that keeps him busy when I need time to myself ;)
There are some really great interactive learning games and resources online for younger children. A lot of the sites not only have games, but also have stories, music, print and color pages, and activities that you can do together. Some even also have recipes.
The main thing to teach your child is how to use the keyboard and how to use a mouse and sit with them at first to help them out (however, through the interest in the sites and games, my son pretty much taught himself - I just stayed next to him in case he had problems). There are times where you will need to help them with some of the challenging parts of the sites or games (they may click on the wrong thing or need to type in their name, etc). However, I would bet most kids will pick it up extremely fast.
Now, I find myself having to restrict computer time because he always want to play games on the computer! We fight over computer time - LOL...I think I created a monster!

thanks!
Helpful hub you got, try mingoville.com for you kid to play its educational and it can help him in his listening and reading ability. You have done such a good work by exposing him to information technology at an early age. I hope you could give a shot mingoville.com though its made for kids who study ESL but it absolutely works for all.
thanks, mingovile, i will check it out
