Since we have been abroad, I have always been on the lookout for the best cards to send and the best way to send them. I have always prefered sending our own photos as cards. But I gave up on sending paper them due to the not so reliable mailing service abroad.

Year after year I have been on the look out for a good way to make greeting cards with my pictures and then being able to send them online. It was only recently that I found this excellent service that allows you to make not only picture and video ecards in seconds, but also scrapbooks, postcards, photo-books and slideshows. And it is all as easy as saying Smilebox!!!

Scrapbooks were the other thing for me. I have millions of pictures of all of our trips, and I keep on wanting to make a scrapbook for each one. But I just have not gotten around to printing the pictures and pasting them in separate scrapbooks. With Smilebox, all you have to do is create your scrapbook without printing a single picture, and once you have it all set, then you can print it entirely as a book. You could even burn it as a DVD instead and add music of your preference and videos if you had them.

Anyway, the point here are the cards, so lets get back to it. Really it is so simple and neet, that I am sure you will make your own right after you finish reading this.

So this is how:

2. Then click on the big purple button that says "Click to Get Started"
3. Follow the simple directions to set up the download
4. Once the the software is on your PC, open it.
5. Then choose a design, personalize it (add you pictures, drag and drop), preview to see if you like it (if not, then go back to personalize). If you like it, Share it (email or post), print it, or burn it.

Tip: Right underneath the creation you are making, there are two little squares, one says "slide show" and the other says "sorter view". Click on "sorter view" and you can move each picture around to your liking and also add slides if you need more or remove slides that you do not need.

Here is the one I just made: My First E-Card Creation It has 8 pictures and I could have placed a video if I wanted. Also if you would like to share a version without the ads you are seeing, then you have the option of paying a few bucks to do so.
