Computer has become one of the most important things in our life. They will become important for your child too. But do not let them get addicted to it. It will make them secluded which no parent will like to happen. Instead encourage them to play with outdoor toys like tricycles and bicycles, balls, kites, etc.

A comparative study between the two will show that it is the outdoor games which ultimately turn the helpless baby to a strong and healthy person. Those who do not get enough of outdoor activities can remain a weakling for the rest of his or her life. They are more prone to diseases as they stay away from sunlight, and thus their body does not generate enough vitamin D to strengthen their immunity system.

If you go by the age of your child then you must be aware that the computer and video games comes at a later stage in your child’s life. They actually grow up by playing with toys and more often by playing outdoors. Outdoor activities are natural extensions of the basic human skills like running, balancing, pulling, pushing, jumping, etc. So more they play, the more will they master these basic movements. And when they are given toys to play outdoors they feel happier.

If your child spends almost all the time in front of television or the computer then there is a chance of them becoming a couch potato. Moreover, they can also develop problems related to the spine and the limbs as most of the body hardly moves. But the most dangerous of all these is that such sedentary lifestyle of the children can cause different medical problems at a considerably young age.

Another matter of concern is that hunger for visuals at an early age demands more graphic representations of all the things. So the children lose their ability of imagination. This is great loss not for the person only but the society because if a person has no imagination then he will become a machine. A society cannot be formed with a number of machines staying together. If you want your child to be an imaginative, active and normal human being then make sure you restrict his games on the computer and direct his energies to outdoor activities instead.
