Outrageous New Gun Registration Law On Its Way
76Obama Has Guns In His Sights
The Great Lockup Begins
If you like to have a gun around to defend yourself in case of burglars, forget it. The first phase of the giant gun lockup has begun.
It's called HR 45, the Blair Holt National Gun Registry Law, but it was sponsored by Illinois Congressman Bobby Rush, a democrat. It's a failed concept. Canada tried to get their 1.4 million gun owners to come in and register their guns, but only about a third have done so.
Why would there be more success in the U.S. where gun owners are even more prone to rebell than in Canada?
Obama never likes to do things like fight the National Rifle Association out in the open. He's a coward. So he comes in with what he hopes America will go with easily. It's gun registration time.
If you think this one is easy, think again. It's going to get ugly.
The democrats in Congress are paying back the anti-gun extremists who put them and Barack Obama in office.
When will America learn from history? Georg Hegel (1770-1831) is considered the father of dialectical idealism, which Karl Marx called materialism. Hegel said what we learn from history is that man does not learn from history!
Indeed, it is true. When you study the effects of draconian gun control in other countries, particularly during the last bloody century, politicians with authoritarian leanings continue to beat the drums calling for more gun control. Englishmen Aldous Huxley in Brave New World and George Orwell in his book 1984 foretold of a time when men would lack guns and thereby be overcome by governments controlling their every movement and action.
It's not a pretty picture - gun control. That is because with it always comes totalitarianism, dictatorship, a government-centric market with big government and declining standard of living. It could and will happen in America if we, the people, allow these men to control, first, our guns and second, our minds.
Gun control features prominently in the police state designs of totalitarian states with which any student of history is familiar. Some of this started during the Bush administration and now for some reason Obama wants his own brand of totalitarianism. My take on all of it is this: Both Bush and Obama are members of the Bilderberg Group and believe in the One World Order which eventually makes the United Nations the ultimate law maker. If possible, Bush and Obama would like to destroy the Constitution sooner rather than later. For the U.S. Constitution guarantees something that stands in the way of a North American Union and the New World Order, and that is a long history of laws which respect man's innate right to free speech, freedom of religion, and freedom to make choices. Here are the natural second and third steps if America allows government to register our guns:
- Gun confiscation
- Federalization of the police force with a vast network of surveillance and
informants to spy on citizens.
- National identification cards for all citizens.
- Civilian disarmament via gun registration, licensing, followed by banning and confiscation of firearms.
- Once this mechanism of oppression is firmly in place, persecution and elimination of political opponents follows, and every social, political and economic policy the Total State desires can be implemented. As I point out below, this has happened in National Socialist states such as Nazi Germany, Fascist states such as Italy under Mussolini, and Communist powers such as the former Soviet Union (and its satellites behind the Iron Curtain) and Red China. It is disturbing that Americans have been assailed in the last several years by this tyranny. Why does each dope who comes to Washington have to reinvent totalitarianism? I think Bush and Obama are intelligent beings. Don't they realize that this is anathema to the individual liberties our Founding Fathers gave us?
There Is No Excuse For Violating The Second Amendment
Guns Have Been Around In America Since Jamestown
Congressman Paul Broun from Georgia says we can expect an assault on our gun rights like we’ve
never seen before.
H.R. 45 is Barack Obama’s gun control package, and it includes
the most vile anti-gun measures he’s supported over the years.
As I said, It's only the first step...
...but it's a HUGE step.
H.R. 45 establishes a national gun registry database of every gun and
its owner -- for the whole county! Your private information and every
gun you own would be in the system.
But that’s only if you succeed in buying a gun in the first place!
Since H.R. 45 dramatically increases requirements for firearms
purchases far beyond those ever proposed, you just might find yourself
incapable of buying a firearm once this bill takes effect.
What Are The Rules For Obama's New Gun Law?
Next Comes Gun Confiscation, Then Totalitarianism. Don't Say I Didn't Warn You
Gun registration has
historically laid the groundwork for total firearm confiscation.
Citizen disarmament is the watchword of tyrants everywhere. Without guns we can't fight back.
In fact, the most brutal dictators of the last century were famous for their gun registration and confiscation schemes.
Every
free
nation had guns before dictators or fascists took control - before
the people lost their freedoms. Just look at Germany before Adolph
Hitler. Then there was Italy before Benito Mussolini; Japan before
Hirohito; and Czarist Russia before Joseph Stalin, and on and on. Yes,
people did go on hunting expeditions in the woods of Russia before the
stranglehold of communism took deadly command.
You see, H.R. 45 would establish a national gun registry database which would:
* Increase requirements for firearms purchases, far beyond those ever proposed.
* Create a national firearms registry overseen by the Federal Government.
* Invoke Draconian penalties for bookkeeping errors related to the Federal Firearms Database.
Sarah Brady and her allies in Congress want to force you to take a
written exam to prove that you are "fit" to exercise your
Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms.
Every patriotic American should be outraged by this.
Is It Possible That This Legislation Would Pass?
Stand Up And Fight For Your Second Amendment Rights
We have a right to keep and bear arms. It was not given to us by the Obama government, but by 56 honest patriots who formed the Constitution. Many in America believe that this right, like freedoms of speech, assembly, religion, and life itself are God given. The adacity of Washington trying to "infringe" on something that cannot be infringed on.
The State of Montana has a test case that will soon come before the Supreme Court. They maintain that they in Montana have a sovereign right to not only manufacture guns in that state, but as long as they sell them to people only in that state that this does not "infringe" upon Interstate Commerce laws. In fact, that it isn't interstate commerce, but intrastate commerce. Thus it would be within the purview of states' rights to carry on this business. In large measure, what the High Court decides in this case will be indicative of the law as to a federal government's infringement on people's rights to bear arms.
A forced Gun Registry and the proposed Citizen Disarmament Act,
is more than just a forced registration of all firearms in America.
The bill also makes it increasingly difficult to buy a gun in the first place.
Taken right out of Sarah Brady's Christmas wish list, H.R. 45 includes a laundry list of new restrictions on firearms purchases.
In addition to the outrageous national gun registration requirement, H.R. 45 also requires you to:
* Pass a written examination to purchase a firearm.
* Release your medical records -- including confidential mental health
records -- to the government to get your "fitness" to own a firearm
approved.
* Observe a two-day waiting period before all firearms purchases.
* Pay a gun tax of $25 or more on all firearm purchases.
Long Rifles
Americans Won't Stand For Their Guns Being Taken Away. If President Obama Thinks They Will, He Has Badly Miscalculated The Determination of Our People
Moreover, H.R. 45 bans all private firearms sales and maximizes
penalties for minor clerical errors in dealing with the national gun
registry.
The list goes on and on. It's enough to turn your stomach.
I know I don't have to tell you, but these restrictions make a mockery
of the Constitution. "The Right of the people to keep and bear arms
shall not be infringed" might as well say: "You have no rights."
If a two-day waiting period, a written exam and a gun tax aren't infringing our rights, I don't know what is!
Even the Supreme Court’s recent Heller decision guaranteeing an
individual’s right to own a firearm doesn’t hamper Barack Obama’s
agenda one bit.
In fact, it emboldens gun grabbers to pass legislation taxing
ammunition, increasing registration requirements, and drastically
limiting when, how and where you can use your firearm.
That’s why I’ve decided to stand with the National Association for Gun Rights fight back against this radical scheme.
They're fully committed to stopping the efforts of the gun grabbers, but they need the help of grassroots gun owners like you.
With liberals calling the shots in Washington, all supporters of the
Second Amendment must join together, draw a line in the sand, and fight
this battle to the end.
We must make this gun-grab expensive and politically painful for the enemies of freedom. If we do, they'll flinch ... and LOSE.
By mobilizing hundreds of thousands of grassroots gun owners across the
country, the National Association for Gun Rights can put anti-gun
politicians on the hot seat.
Are you opposed to national gun registration?
Are you opposed to a written examination to buy a gun?
Are you opposed to a new $25 gun tax?
Liberal Democreats Want Your Gun
More Than One Democrat Wants To Pass Gun Laws
Several bills were introduced in Congress in 2000. All of which could be reintroduced in this Congress. Each of these bills wants to take guns out of the hands of you and me, law-abiding citizens. How will they do this? The first step is gun registration. Step two is requiring intimate information on which a little man, a czar, in Washington can act to exclude anyone from owning a gun. He can say "This person is too radical; this one is not honest; this citizen argues with his neighbor, and so forth. Most of the arguments against individuals owning guns will be made up, fabricated by a bureaucrat.
The second step is creation of a national calamity. A president or prominent senator will be assassinated. Don't you recall the cry that went up when John F. Kennedy was killed? Liberals everywhere called for gun control, national registration, passing of a test, and other requirements to hold guns.
Well, in this second step they will bypass all the other steps and pass a law requiring voluntary relinquishment of all guns.
Third step: government will check its records and go around house to house rounding up all guns.
Fourth step: government will become more aggressive. Again they will go to homes, not satisfied with the previous door-knock requests for guns, this time searching homes, without search warrants which will be made "unnecessary" by the law (a further downgrading of the Constitutional right of Americans to bear arms without infringement). During this fourth aggessive step by government, there will be conflict in the streets between federal marshals and gun owners. It will cause another civil war because many gun owners will not give up their guns for love or money.
Who started this total foolishness? Government, by INFRINGING on the rights of the people to bear arms. Infringe means to encroach, to transgress or exceed the limits of; violate, defeat, invalidate, or engage in trespassing. The Feds will have violated all of those principles. To require someone to give up a right is infringement. The right of gun ownership exists independent of run registration, which is a patently illegal act. As you can see, with each passing step the government takes to get hold of your gun they will get deeper and deeper into the areas of infringement that the Constitution specifically protects. All gun registration is illegal, in the opinion of an attorney which I am.
Here are some of the laws that have been introduced or will be again:
- Sen. Dianne Feinstein's, D-Calif., bill, S-2525, also sponsored by Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., and Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J.
The above bill requires that all persons be fingerprinted, licensed with
passport-size photographs, and forced to reveal certain personal information
as conditions for granting a license. The measure wants to make possible for "...uniform regulation of firearms among the states" so that "law enforcement can quickly and effectively trace firearms used in crime..." The real reason for this bill is to quickly round up people owning guns and throw them in jail, confiscate their guns, and enable a dictator to take office without opposition or threat of armed rebellion.
- Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., S-2099, would mandate gun owners to register their firearms, in essence, establish a national gun registry. It would treat handguns like machine guns, short barrel shotguns, grenades and other specialized weapons. It would give gun owners one year to register all handguns. This would be effected by a vigorous public campaign funded by the taxpayers, as is already the case in Canada today. But, only one-third of Canadians have complied. Do you think more Americans than Canadians would comply with this proposed bill or any other bill of gun registration and haaissment?
- Now we are faced with HR 45 as mentioned above. They are all the same in one fact. These bills are the first step toward our involuntary relinquishment of our guns to a higher, but ignoble, power - the federal government.

I agree. I'm glad my husband is in law enforcement, so we'll always have our guns!
All this and it still won't keep the guns out of criminal hands. Good Luck!
I agree. The government that fears the people is not of the people.
Thanks, DanDnAZ, Jiberish, Lily Rose, HmrJmr1 for your nice comments. DanDn Az, your comment was great in that I believe this government really does fear us. Otherwise why would they want to take our guns? Jiberish, I don't think we are going to lose our guns. If we do, this is far more serious than I would hope it is. I could be all wet, too. I think the Supreme Court will come to the aid of the people on this one. We are better off - yes, and so is America - with a nation of gun owning citizens than without. We are the second line of defense for this country in case foreign terrorists try to come in here and wipe out all the good people. That could happen. Obama doesn't realize it, but the US better let us keep our guns if he's got any chance of living out his 4 years in office. If someone threatens our Constitutional government and our soldiers are all in Afghanistan, who is going to defend the White House. Citizen soldiers, that's who. And we don't have enough National Guardsmen to do the job.
Lily Rose, your husband will always keep his guns, but what about the rest of us. We're not a threat to Obama or anything else, but there aren't enough Officer Roses to go around and to protect all of us.
And, HmrJmr1, thank you for your very strong comments. I agree with you.

This is the type of misuse I'd like controlled: Two doors down from my martial arts studio a few years back, a FELON (not supposed to own a gun) opened a Gun Store. He had an emotional crisis and held himself hostage, locking himself in and threatening police by phone that he was going to shoot up the place, the commerical district, and himself. Took all day to get him out.
But overall, I think it might be as difficult to control all guns as it was to control alcohol during prohibition. I think many people still have unregistered firearms handed down through generations of war veterans, for instance.
I can handle a gun, but am better with weapons I can throw, or a double recurve bow or longbow. Shooting gives me temporary deafness, even with ear plugs AND shooting earmuffs.
The control of all guns will be very difficult, I think.
Its would be bad if only the crooks had guns! All citizens should own a gun for their protection. Good hub!
Thanks Patty and Place Kick. It would be very bad if only the crooks had guns. Thank's for your comments. I agree with them. Don White
