Many people trying to make money online are familiar with Elance. Thanks to Tim Ferriss' book, Elance has become very popular. Although I used it before its mega popularity, Elance is not the only game in town.
Just recently I posted a project but the bidders didn't have the qualifications I was looking for. This forced me to look further afield for other outsourcing services. Sometimes bad things happen for a good reason. Although I was stressed about getting my project done, I would never have found the great coder I eventually settled on otherwise. I got my project done over a single weekend when I had been told it would take weeks--and at a reasonable price.
I like services where all official communications are hosted on a third party site. When providers host their own project sites, the timeline of events can be altered, changed, or your access simply blocked. Same thing applies to email. It is much safer for both parties to have all official communications recorded by an impartial third party.
Although I have my own new favorite serivce, you are by no means limited. There's easily a dozen services out there waiting for your project--
- Piggy Bank Pie Writing Services
- Tutorvista.com
- Guru.com
- Globalsolutionsindia.com
Got an idea for a nifty Wordpress plugin but don't know the difference between PHP and a bumble bee? Not a problem. It's not unreasonable to get something like that done for $50.
Need a math tutor for your fifth grader? How about blueprints for a kitchen redesign? These too, can be outsourced. Truly, you're only limited by your imagination.
