Pornography Addiction, Why Fight It?
Having seen many go through porn and sex addiction of many years I would frequently ask myself, "Why can't they just stop?" There was always a part of them that really wanted this beast of pornography and sexual addiction out of their life but another part of them kept the burning cravings alive. It was like there were two people; one that wanted out and the other that did not want to let go. It had become a cyclical part of their lifes. When time got tough or stressful, they had become accustomed to using porn as a way to cope. There was the feeling of living a double life.
Most porn/sex addicts live the double life and feel like they are an anomaly and unlike other people. Living a double life is is extremely chaotic always having to hide things and when the guilt and consequences became so bad they would confess to church leaders to get it off my shoulders. This is a cycle that keeps repeating. Note to anyone out there struggling; you are not alone, millions suffer from this same cycle. You must gain an understanding of the brain learn how to strengthen the brain. You can get rid of the "double life" that most pornography and sex addicts have.

Yes, you are correct. The internet brings the porn right into the home and work place. A lot of times, it is secret but eventually it is all discovered and people lose their jobs, their families and their lives because of not being able to get control of their lives.
