Try and Eat more often.
Yes, that is what I said. By eating four to six small meals every day, it will prevent you from eating too many calories as you won't be so hungry during normal meal times.
Also, by eating more frequently, you won't suffer from the usual food cravings and hunger pangs. You will also feel like you have a more constant supply of energy as opposed to getting instant spikes or highs of energy which comes from eating heavy meals.
Remember, this is not permission to go eat more food. You still need to be eating around 1,200- 1,800 calories every day depending on exactly how much weight you need to lose. The trick is to spread those calories to more, smaller meals.
Set a realistic weight goal.
We all know that there is nothing more discouraging than feeling like you have failed and that you are not making any progress with your weight loss efforts. By setting an attainable target weight, you will find that the whole process of losing weight will seem more achievable.
Prepare your own meals and eat out as little as possible.
This doesn't just allow you to lose weight, it saves you money too. It's so easy to cheat on your diet when you are eating out. There are just so many temptations that are hard to avoid and it's so easy to make excuses to cheat on your diet when you are dining with friends- "the dessert's just too good to pass up", "Just this one time", etc. If you prepare your own meals then you know exactly what ingredients were used, how much calories the meal contains, etc.
