Conquering Overwhelm

Being overwhelmed and not knowing when to say “NO” in your internet business training is a very frightening and confusing time. I know when I first started out I found myself jumping from one place to another knowing in my heart that the next plan was going to be the best.

Honestly, the only thing that I found was an empty wallet and much frustration. It wasn’t the plan that failed me though, it was me failing me.

I began wasting my time surfing the net, checking my emails so that I wouldn’t miss anything, going to forums to see what was going on and checking my stats in hopes that something was happening.

Of course these were all tactics of confusion and nothing was happening because I was doing nothing. I was paralyzed and overwhelmed.

Having a Plan and Sticking with It

There are tons of plans and unfortunately I can’t tell you which one to go to but when you do pick a plan you must learn to stick with it.

Yes all the temptations in the world are going to continue to pop up as little diamonds beckoning you to buy.  But, you must learn to say NO…. until you have mastered your plan of choice.

Your plan should allow you to find yourself within your business and give you exact steps to take so that you will become totally focused on one task at a time, till it is mastered.  Jumping from one plan to another is only going to give you some else’s thoughts on the same concept.  That is confusing and overwhelming.

It is like anything else that we do in our lives, learning how to lose weight, training for a marathon or just learn a new skill, knowing when to say NO is the hardest thing in the world.  But once you learn to do it you will begin to grow and your business will grow too.

Saying Yes to a Business Training Course

Yes there really does come a time when you can say “ yes” to another business training course, but that is only if it will enhance the training that you are focusing on a that present time.   This is when you begin to stretch, you are making money now, you feel confident with your business plan and now you feel it is time to ‘specialize’ and grow more.

At this point you will be more confident and better able to embrace new and more challenging skills.  By sticking with your plan and mastering the training, overwhelm will no longer be an issue for you.

The “Magic Begins”

Your Training

I want to recap the thoughts here so that you can visualize what is necessary in your training.

  • Know what you want
  • Personalize your plan
  • Know when to say "no"
  • Know when to say "yes"
  • Don't jump around
  • Become oriented
  • Finish what you are doing
  • Focus but with action
  • Specialize
  • See the "magic happen"

Knowing when to say “No” is a very valuable tool and really one that you need to learn to use. But as stated there does come a time when you are strong, confident and making money that you can and should begin to say “yes” again. Only this time I know that you will be much more selective.

Take time before you buy another thing or do another thing. Take time to learn more about Internet Business Training and step off the curb not the cliff...

Renegade Professional is the most complete and focus oriented plan I have found. For more information go to Internet Network Marketing Solutions and feel comfortable in contacting me.

Nice article Angela,I can definitely relate especially the jumping from one program to the next. And you're absolutely right having a plan and sticking to it, it's the only way to navigate the internet atmosphere otherwise you'll end up lost in the sauce.

Good information thank you Angela.

Having a plan is paramount. I had kind-of a plan when I first started and like you, found myself floundering like a fish all of the place.

It's only when I said yes to training with people that knew what they were talking about that I started to focus on the areas that were important.

I no longer feel like I'm free falling over that cliff you mentioned.

I am sooo grateful that I have learned to say "No". It may be very true that some of the marketing that reaches my inbox is valuable, but, for me, I am staying focused on Renegade Professional.

I can learn good copywriting from those other marketers, but, we cannot keep going from pillar to post and think that progress will be made.

Staying with one mentor/trainer that truly fits your values and goals saves a lot of hassle.

For most of us saying "No" is the hardest word to say. Especially on the internet it is easy to bite off more than you can chew! Find what works for you and stick with it.

It’s OK to have a variety of interest, you just have to keep yourself organized and focused on your goal.

Create a Plan then Work The Plan and you'll achieve great things. As my friend and mentor Mike Klingler is known to say...

"A Balance of Training + Consistent Action = Massive Predictable “Effortless" Success"

Angela,

Great advice. I agree with you 100%.

I will have to admit. I have gotten off track several times. I have checked out other programs and bought into the latest and greatest systems.

In every case, it has cost me greatly in terms of money and time.

The key for me to accomplish far more in the shortest amount of time is focusing on my road map and saying "no" to all the "hypey" emails that are sent to me.

Thanks, Angela

Angela,

Very nicely said... And your right on target. You definitely have to have a plan, when putting anything into action. Because for one, you will definitely get lost in the noise, as Mike Kligler says.

Angela thanks for sharing... This is definitely on my radar...
