Oz In A Hurry: A review in verse form

A long time ago I read a book which had little book reports or movie reviews entirely in verse form. I decided to write one of my own. It is challenging and entertaining to attempt this. Here is mine and I hope you will write one too.

Oz In A Hurry!

Tornado blows house to far away land, kills wicked witch. Strike up the band! Dorthy's our hero, "Ding-Dong" is scored. Dead witch's slippers are Dorothy's reward.

Only the 'Wiz can find Dorothy's abode. Dorothy and dog follow yellow brick road. They meet: Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion...three seeking brain, heart and the courage to be.

Perils and chases dot way to Oz. Melting witch #2 is one noble cause. Four seekers (and dog) at the end of the line, find the "Wizard of Oz" is wasting their time.

Click magic shoes: "There's No Place Like Home". Believe in yourself, not an elderly gnome. Life's a bash and a breeze depending on elves, but OZ helps only those who help themselves!

"Over the Rainbow" and back it would seem...an adventure surreal, or just a girl in a dream?
