We all know the cost of drugs is super high but did you know that the drug companies are taking as high as a three hundred percent markup on the price of your medication. Apparently costco is one of the few that is not doing this. Compare prices on their website. I discovered that one medication that was as high as ninety dollars could be gotten for twenty. Has the government gone mad. can they not see that this is going on. Pharmacies that tell you your saving money by getting the generic don't tell you about the amount of their mark up. Most active ingrediants come from overseas, which means these companies are not paying what we would consider a wage to get that active ingrediant in the first place. I could not belive the price difference when I looked it up. This is worth looking at for everyone that takes medications. I received this originally as an email from a friend of mine and could not belive it but seeing is believing. At this ;point when it comes to taking unfair advantage the only thing worse than the drug companies are the gas companies. Summer is here and the prices are rapidly rising. Hate to think what they'll be by the end of the week. Oh well I can always walk more. But it does seem odd to me that a country that can figure out how to put a man on the moon cannot come with an alternative to dependence on foreign oil.
