PAY THE PEOPLE FIRST BAILOUT
51"PAY THE PEOPLE FIRST"
Stop the Bailout of Greedy Wall Street Executives, Corrupt Banking System and Overzealous Insurance Company's.
I am against the $700,000,000,000 Billion dollar bailout.
I say "Pay the People First!"
Let's take the $700,000,000,000 Billion Dollars and divide it between all adults over 18 years of age.
There are 218 Million Adults per the census of 2007 over 18.
Take the $700,000,000,000 Billion Dollars and divide it by the 218 million U.S. Citizens over 18 years old.
"Pay The People First" would allocate
$32,000 dollars for each U.S. Citizen over 18!
That would be $64,000 for each married couple!
Let America Get the Economy Running!
Stop Wall Street and the Greed!
Stop the Corrupt Government!
LETS MAKE A CHANGE AND NOW!
POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
Please pass this to everyone you know!
Please blog this, call your congress person, get this out there.
WE DESERVE THE MONEY!
NOT WALL STREET!
Thank you,
Amy Meyers

Hi Amy,
I agree that paying out $700 billion of tax payers money, given the original bailout plan, was not a good idea. But the math in your Hub is a little off - by a decmal place. $700 billion divided by $218 million equals $3200 not $32000.
Also, although I agree that the CEOs make an unbelieveable amount of money, before pointing the blame at the "greedy executive" it is important to be aware that government regulations enacted back to the time of President Carter requiring banks to issue mortgages to people unqualified to pay was the start of this mess.
Paying $700 billion to anyone should not be taken lightly, considering the rising National Debt. I included some links and video in my HubPage you might find interesting , http://hubpages.com/hub/700b-Bailout-Financial-Imp
Look forward to reading more of your Hubs
Hi Wendy,
Great comment! $32,000 or $3,200 or $320.00. At this point I would rather have the money go to the people then Wall Street. The de-regulation that occured under Bush and McCain has added fuel to the fire. Ron Paul has an excellent email that I will publish on the hub for you to see regarding this bailout.
Thanks
Amy
Peace be with you my friend. We are all here to have our voice heard. I hope you find yours.
