PAYPAL..BAY PAL...LETS SHUT THEM DOWN
66Hello All fellow hubbers. Been awhile since I've posted here, but since I've had a interesting discussion with my friend, I felt I should share.
My friend has a legitimate online business selling handbags, wallets, and accessories. No complaints from anyone, and nothing but satisfied customers both domestically and internationally. Only 1 problem....PAYPAL.
Now for those of you who use, or have used PAYPAL you know what their "Terms Of Use" are, as does my friend. She was carrying "Designer Inspired" products, clearly marked as such, and with many notations that these products are not original manufactured products. Paypal sent her a email and limited her account. They asked her to remove the designer inspired products products from her website as they consider them to be "FAKES". Within 24 hours she removed such Items and sent them a email response back asking them to please review her changes and if they are satisfied, then please remove the account limitation. Their response was "PLEASE REMOVE PAYPAL COMPLETELY FROM YOUR WEBSITE"(They Banned Her!!)
I'm not sure what planet PayPal/Ebay are living on, but isn't a hard economy a good enough reason to try and KEEP customers? For this of you who do not know, PAYPAL is owned By EBAY, and share the same ridiculous policies. Oh, and here's a good one also. Paypal stated that "They are doing what they can to enforce their rules/regulations...Really? Go to your browsers and type in the following replicahandbags+Paypal..This will return any sites that sell replica handbags, and accept Paypal..I come up with 1,350,000 sites that are in violation, or potential violation of Paypals terms of service.
This Hub is a call to action. Paypal thinks they are the only game in town...and they are not. Everyday people are escaping buth Paypal and Ebay for more fairer ground. For those of you who would like to defeat Paypal at their own game, do a search for replica, or designer inspired anything, and add paypal to it, and see what you get(designer inspired+Paypal) Then use Paypals "report violation(s) page which is found on Paypal.com.
My friend has already begun the quest to tear them down by using their own Terms Of Use against them. With the notation at the end of every email that the sites submitted to you as violations will be reviewed by me within 7 business days, and if those sites are still found to be up and operational and still accepting Paypal, the email, and the automated Paypal response will be sent to the BBB.
For those of you reading this hub who sell items such as replicas and designer inspired, and accept Paypal, please know that this is not a personal attack against you, or a plot to destroy your livelyhood. This is a mission to either get Paypal and Greed Bay to change their ridiculous policies, or to follow their own rules to the letter, and ban over 1 million vendors, thereby causing their own demise.
Yes, we have better things to do, but when you get this girls skirt in a lump she strikes back harder then you did. If anybody would like to copy this hub and forward it to Paypal...please be my guest. Maybe someone of importance is reading this right now and if you are please look over your shoulder...because were coming!
