You make the call

In our war on terrorism we seem to be forgetting we have some organizations right here in the United States that are literally getting away with murder. By definition PETA is a domestic terrorist group. They threaten and carry out acts of violence when people do not see things their way and the often carry out these threats. What do you call a radical group that kills in the name of protecting, that condones violence to show us how compassionate they are, and participates in actions that are comparable to a holy war? I call them domestic terrorist or PETA.

What does a group like this need more than anything? They need publicity and they get it in the form of liberal far left actors joining their cause and by doing things like blowing up a McDonald’s restaurant full of people because they are eating meat; this is criminal and it is insane. They do this, and get away with it, on the premise that it is their right as an American yet I am a monster if I own a gun and hunt, which is completely legal, to put food on the table.

PETA is the epitome of hypocrisy. They kill thousands of animals every year to prove that animal abuse is wrong. They are against animal experimentation when it benefits human beings. I am also against unnecessary cruelty and I know that some experimentation is cruel but some experimentation, with pigs for instance, has lead to the availability of things like insulin. By the way the vice president of PETA is a diabetic and takes insulin shots daily. Maybe to show how strongly she feels about the work that PETA does she should stop taking these injections. Of course she would die but she would sure make a believer out of me; at least she would die honest.

PETA, like any other radical fundamentalist group, started off with good intentions and went too far. Nothing is wrong with being against animal abuse, animals need protection. As human beings we are at the top of the food chain and with these come responsibilities. One of those responsibilities is to protect a weaker species. Hunting is a good example. Yes hunting usually involves killing something but it is also an aspect of animal management which helps the species as a whole and provides us with food at the same time, you know, the way it was meant to be.

Hypocrisy

Ingrid Newkirk, President of PETA

From a personal standpoint.

I have owned and operated a Nuisance Animal Control company in Northern Michigan for quite some time. I have signs on my truck for advertisement purposes just as many businesses do and being in the north, small rural area of Michigan, I do not come into contact with many PETA people and I call them people for lack of a better term. Basically, there are not enough people in this are for PETA to get the attention they need so they don’t bother with us; our animals are not important I guess. On occasion over the years I have been called to the southern part of the state on jobs and this is the populous area of Michigan so of course PETA is everywhere and I have had rocks thrown at my truck simply because the signs read Nuisance Animal Control. Now, if these fanatics had taken the time to ask I would have gladly explained to them that I live trap and relocate animals when ever possible. Over the years I have live trapped hundreds of skunks and relocated them and set them free unharmed. I have removed live raccoons and their babies from many homes and businesses and released them in the woods and on occasion when the mother would take the young back after human contact my wife and I would bottle feed them and care for them until they could be returned to the wild. In short, when animals interact with people it usually can only be bad news for the animal; I am the animal’s best chance for survival at that point. PETA doesn’t know this because they never took the time to ask.
