PGA Tour: Who are Your Favorites for the PGA FedEx Cup
60Next week the US PGA Tour FedEx Cup playoffs begin.
It is hard to imagine that another PGA Season is nearing its end and the tour playoffs are about to commence. The name at the top of the FedEx Cup leaderboard is no surprise even if somewhat improbable. For the last 12 years, Tiger Woods has practically dominated the PGA tour and two years ago as expected he won the first installment of the season ending playoffs of the world's premier professional golf tour. Last year, due to knee surgery, Tiger Woods was not able to participate in the playoffs allowing Vijay Singh of the Fiji Islands to take the tilte over the hard charging, young Colombian upstart, Camilo Villegas. But, Tiger is back and even after missing the first two and a half months of action has won five tournaments to stand a top the FedEx Leaderboard going into the Playoff Cups' initial event next week.
But does the top American golfer have the stamina to finish a season that began with him in rehabilitation. Like normal, Tiger Woods had a phenomenal season even if he went without winning a golf tour major for only the second time in his illustrious career. Yet, his minor meltdown against Y. E. Yang in the PGA Championship may mean he is vulnerable for the first time in a long time. Who do you think will win the championship?
