Awaiting A Visit From The Pakistani Taliban

As of this moment as I write, there have been thirteen people murdered and over thirty additional casualties from the terrorist attack at Fort Hood, Texas by Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan. One young man, who grew up about twenty miles from my home, has had his bladder and colon destroyed by Hasan's barbarity. Yet, the young soldier lives. Major Hasan also lives. Here we have one more act of terrorism by Muslim fanatics against Americans on American soil. After the rampage, President Barak Obama cajoled Americans not to jump to any conclusions about the massacre until all of the facts are known. Would President Obama and his ilk have been so generous if the perpetrator of this crime had been a Southern Baptist or a Roman Catholic? Perhaps Mr. Obama can cite the case of a white police officer in Cambridge, Massachusetts as a worthy example of how not to " jump to conclusions". There are several reasons for this additional act of terrorism against Americans. One reason is a blind adherence to political correctness and diversity. General George Casey, the Army chief of staff, seemed to lament more about the damage done to the protocol of diversity than to the welfare of the common soldiers and their families. The warning signs abounded about Major Hasan from his past behavior. Hasan was known to openly express his opposition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hasan also attended a military university, according to the Manchester Guardian ( www. guardian.co.uk ), where he made frequent political comments during the courses. Hasan, a psychiatrist, was also known to express these views to his patients. Perhaps General Casey has already been mentally castrated by the stifling dogma of political correctness. Many Muslims around the world celebrated yet again the murder and mutilation of Americans. Another reason for this massacre may be the collective angst by American elitists in order to publicly display their guilt about America and , therefore, tolerate murderers and executioners amongst us. That is, as long as it is somebody else being murdered or executed. Poor border maintenance and lax immigration standards have also contributed to this situation. How many radical Muslim imams have been granted legal entry into America in order to spread their venom? How many future murderers of Americans illegally cross porous borders weekly in order to await orders from the Middle East? Here I am jumping to conclusions again! Yet, Muslim extremists are surprisingly forthright about their plans for America and Americans. One such example is the vow made by the Pakistani Taliban. On March 31, 2009, the Associated Press reported that Baitullah Mehsud promised that "soon we will launch an attack in Washington that will amaze everyone in the world". Mehsud is the commander of the Pakistani Taliban. Given the example of September 11, 2001, it is a threat well worth heeding. If such a threat is carried out and succeeds, the death toll would be far closer to 13,000 than to thirteen. Many of the politically correct, including lawyers, journalists and academics will perish. Then, too, will many police officers, firefighters, rescue personnel, doctors, nurses, grocers, mechanics, vendors, school children, etc. "The little cogs", as Joseph Stalin derisively referred to them as being. In other words, the people that make the trains run on time will bear the brunt of an attack. All of the prior attacks in America have been but dress rehearsals for the big event. Lest we forget, Washington, D.C., was a prime target on 9/11, too. The airplane crash into the Pentagon was bad enough. There is no telling of how many lives were ultimately saved in Washington because of the bravery and sacrifice of the passengers and crew of United Airlines flight 93 near Shanksville, Pennsylvania on that terrible day! Will President Obama urge people not to "jump to conclusions" should another day like 9/11 arrive in the next couple of years? Presently, the Pakistani Taliban is in a life and death struggle with the Pakistani government for control of that country. Should the Taliban succeed in wresting control of power in Pakistan, then terrorists will have a ready supply of nuclear weaponry at their disposal. The fragile peace of the Indian subcontinent will crumble and Pakistan may supplant Iran as the chief exporter of terrorism. All legitimate governments around the world will be threatened by such a scenario. Throw Iran and North Korea into the mix and who knows the dangers involved? Here I am "jumping to conclusions" and asking absurd questions again! It's too bad that our government doesn't take a stand and "jump to conclusions". Most thinking Americans have already correctly done so! Unfortunately, Americans have a government not particularly interested in national security and the safety of its citizens. How do we know this? It is because of the government's continued refusal to restrict the flow of Islamic murderers and executioners into America! That is not "jumping to conclusions".
