Positive words have to see it as spiritual and negative as soulish.

The word “do not sin” is a negative word. It contains the negative “not.”  Opposite word would be righteousness. Belief. Love.  The word sin or not sin is both negatives.

The negative word hate has the opposite positive love. Stealing is a negative word. Do not steal is also negative. It has: do not. In the New Testament there should not be the word “do not steal”. Do not steal is not enough. The positive would be bless, give. We have to change things to be positive. It must be a positive active process.

To give means many things besides money. For some it is there “time” that is more valuable than money. It applies to those who are industrial and inventive.

Lord wants for us to have a positive active life.

Your brother needs from you straightening and encouragement. If not, it is negative action. Even the best brother needs encouragement. Negativity is not only critical it is destructive. Did you ever accomplish anything by being negative?

If we do not do what we should do or do what we should not is negative. We may say the sin of omission and the sin of commission. The Lord wants from us have a positive life. We often are habitually negative.   

We might do wrong or we do not do well. If we do bad things this is sin. If someone does not do anything he may think he is not in sin. He may have become religious and lazy. We cannot go to the closet and isolate ourselves and run away from life.

Negative is damaging for others and us. It damages brothers and sisters in the Lord. At the same time it closing our testimony.

Everything, which builds, is positive. Criticism, judging is negative. Negative is not of faith. Everything that is not of faith is sin. Both are of the flesh. Speak positively all the time. Speak of others in a good and positive manner.   

 Look at the Jesus. He was positive. He was only negative toward religion. But we do not have any time for this. He already defined religion.

The new Peter denied Jesus. He did not say it until the end. Judas was stealing and betrayed Him. Jesus called him friend. He taught us not to tear down the brethren. Jesus was good example. We have to learn a lot. To learn and have revelation is joy.

 We said what is positive and what is negative. They are technical terms, to understand the Word and Christian living. It is only good view on the matter but it is help if we can accept it.
