Confessions of a PPC Consultant

You obviously heard about Google AdWords, how it's making guys like me TONS of tons of TONS cash. You know from Chris Carpenter's Google Cash" program to Kyle & Carson's Beating AdWords" (Link Below) to Perry Marshall's Ultimate Guide to Google AdWords (Link Below), and the list goes on and on.

However, take a breather with me and ask - how great have you been using PPC (pay-per-click), with your current teacher?

Don't answer...out loud; however you should be keeping inventory of your business, even if it's an automated one or digital like affiliate marketing. I love Chris, Kyle, and Carson - they have great products that have helped me greatly; but I look at myself as a pretty sharp guy. I had no internet marketing backgroud - but I knew and know how to adapt to situation and work hard, and I don't have a "I give up" attitude when things don't go my way.

Do you?

Now, I'm not saying you aren't sharp...but let's face it - the internet is loaded with people who are trying to make FAST money - they aren't really trying to learn a new craft deeply. So they will see a quality book like Inside the List", and totally speed read it, then try it's methods for a week or so, and if things don't manifest at warp speed, they give up in frustration.

Keep in mind it took them nearly a month to learn to drive, two months to ride a bike, and years to learn to read. Why would it take a month or less to learn to make $10,000/ month from the comfort of your home?

Doesn't make sense to me either. But with PPC (pay-per-click), and its ever-changing platform; you can use it to make hoards of cash and it really is easy (once you get it). It's like riding a bike; the first few times were rough; but by high-school, you were popping wheelies, riding with no hands, doing all kinds of tricks. So with PPC, you have to get the basics, be very thorough, very consistent, persistant, and patient.

It's tedious work; I mean who wants to build 30 separate Adgroups for a campaign when you could simply dump 501 keywords into one adgroup?

Who wants to make specific geo keywords and target a tight niche demographic for more targeted response when you can just set it to USA and get everyone I find?

Thanks for the article. Interesting - I'm still not sure whether these guys make real money with PPC - I think they 'made' money with ppc, and then started making money teaching their methods... There is more money in training. go figure
