PRINCESS DIANAS FAVORITE THINGS

Princess Diana collected Herend china figurines, which are now on view at Althorp. Her figurines were various animals painted in the classic Herend fishnet design.

Her favorite movie was Brief Encounter, one she watched many times and cried every time.

Once a week Princess Diana had a pianist come to her house to play for her. A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square was her favorite piano piece.

The Princess loved shopping for greeting cards, particularly humorous ones.

When the Princess wrote to her best friends she used blue writing paper.

She also liked to wear blue, as well as black and red.

The book Princess Diana read over and over for many years is The Road Less Travelled by Dr. Scott Peck.

The princess always used a fountain pen dipped in ink for her letter writing.

Long stemmed yellow roses were her favorite flowers to receive.

Princess Diana always took a bath, never a shower.

And she had a large collection of teddy bears, most of them with clothing.

Lastly, Princess Diana drank her coffee black, no sugar.
