Padma Lekshmi is the host of the show "Top Chef"  and she is indeed the hottest chef we have ever seen. She was born in Indian in Chennai. But she lived all her life abroad. In her childhood she miraculosly escaped from a car accident, but the accident left a 7 inch scar on her hand.

Her career started with modeling and she has also appeared in a few films. Her first Bollywood film was Boom, which boomed at the box office,literally. But that was also the first film of Katrina Kaif and no one will ever forget her scene from the movie.

She got married to Salman Rushdie, the controversial writer, in 2004, but they divorced after a few years. Then came Top Chef and the show became an instant hit, as the hostess appeared even more delicious than the dishes.

Padma Lakshmi appeared in an advertisement for Hardees in which she deepthroats a burger and it sparked off a controversy.
