I've always loved playing video games. I can't begin to tell you how many times i got in trouble for staying up all night playing video games. Then one day i thought, "I wonder if i could make money playing video games." And after a fews hours of research it turns out you can make money testing out new video games. There are two things you need in order to get a job as a video game tester.

First of all you will need to qualify for the job. you qualify for a video game tester job f you:

-Are 18 years or older(Although some companies will hire you as long as you are 15.)

-A next-gen console(Xbox360 PS3 Wii), or a good computer to test video games.

-Connection to the internet so you can send your feedback to the companies.(Which I'm sure if you're reading this you have lol.) Although some companies will mail you your assignments.

Qualifying for the job is only the first part. You need to actually start getting games sent to you or going to a testing center to make money. You need to find places to hire you. There are many communities out there that you can have datatbases of companies that are currently looking for video game testers.

Finding a job as a video game tester is really hard if you don't have any idea where to look. If you do a bit of research online you will find many websites that offer job databases for video game testers. Now, most of these websites are a scam as i'm sure some of you may know. You just have to watch out for those that promise to make you money overnight or ask for a monthly membership fee.

It is unrealistic for a new video game tester to make money overnight. It just doesn't happen lol. So if some website promises you such a thing RUN AWAY!. Believe me you don't want to be caught in one of those sites and end up not getting anything out of it.

If you are asked for a monthly fee this doesn't really mean it's a scam site, but a monthly fee is useless. You shouldn't have to pay to work. Besides there are plenty of websites that offer even better tools that won't charge you a monthly fee.
