I should not need to hear I’m beautiful
Alas there is no beauty until its judged
No hideousness for that matter
Its the beholding that makes it so
So I wait, like a canvas waits for pigment
Adjectives to change blank cloth to color
Splatter flattery across my skin
Then watch as it slowly seeps in
I become as vibrant in demeanor
As the adulation whispered here
Why would you deprive me
The compliments your thinking
To do so leaves me pale and insecure
Please paint me sexy with your words
Color me with a kaleidoscope of compliments
In them I will find my confidence
You like the curve of my hip? Tell me.
My eyes like emeralds, did I hear you say?
And my bottom lip you murmur
leads you to distraction
The softness of my neck makes you sigh
Now I’m warmed by your reaction
If only I could bathe in every luscious phrase
immersing my self in your sweet attention
For only under your discerning gaze
Will I become what you see in me
Oh sweet talk, you crave it too?
Shall I share, how delicious I find you?

I would rather be holding the beauty, then just critiquing the beauty I beheld. but one can fingerpaint smiles on any girls face with colorful adjectives about her lovely attributes.

Superb thoughts on adulation and it's importance in a relationship, or even in just a passing glance. Too many guys focus only on a three point landing, but there are warm liquid eyes, and nibbable ear lobes, and the kissable nape of a neck, and the curve of a gams, and the dimples of cheeks teasing a smile. An endless smorgasbord of delectable delights to peruse, and then grateful compliments to the one who makes them look so tasty.~~~LOL-MFB III
