butterflies.... my inspiration
Please do not sit on my shouder,
One moment longer.....
for your happines is important to me..
let me admire every curve of you
Your wings so gentle and paper thin
The very formation of you...
Colour, texture, essence and meaning of you...
lie now upon my pillow -
So i can admire,
Soak up the beauty of you,
Your rapture is now speaking to me,.....
i am drinking it in slowly...
admiring your soft, gentle, delicate wings
And oh the colours of you
The colours of you....
I am having difficulty describing
This moment,
As i still admire you...
you fly out of the open window,
Your choice
I laugh to myself,
The net now redundant,
I take up my palette
Paint the very beauty of you,
The colours of you,
The very very colours of you
Your beauty....
The loveliness of you
My painting ....... Of you
you who has now been set free...
I will not be able to concentrate,
the day will lay heavy one me,
As thoughts of you on my pillow,
So fragile,
Beautiful
Within Reach....... though free to go.

I'm not complaining; I love your poetry. But, if you are looking to expand your abilities, you might try writing in a more structured verse format. Rhyme and meter make you search for just the right words to express the same feelings. Meter allows you to express attitudes and can be changed within the poem to express changes. Just a suggestion, I love your work.
