Karthi-Tamanna starrer PAIYA
Paiya is an upcoming Kollywood movie which has Karthi(Paruthiveeran fame) and Tamanna in lead roles and being directed by noted director Lingusamy. Karthi, after the completion of the much awaited tamil flick Aayirathil Oruvan is now expecting the release of his movie Paiya also as it's been quite a long gap since his debut movie Paruthiveeran was released.
Tamanna has been maintaining a good balance in Kollywood and Tollywood with some remarkable hits in both tamil and telugu in recent years. In this 2009, she is looking forward to the release of her movies Kanden Kadhalai(remake of Jab we met) and Paiya, after having tasted the success of Surya starrer Ayan few months ago.
Director Lingusamy has given massive hits in the past, but something went wrong in his much awaited movie, Vikram-Trisha starrer BHEEMAA which failed in box office. So, the upcoming Paiya movie is expected to be an attempt for a commercially successful entertainer from the director.
