Palladium in Birmingham, MI
62Birmingham is a city in Oakland County in the metro Detroit Area. Its pedestrian-friendly downtown and the two movie theatres make it stand out from the rest of the suburbs.
Palladium is a new movie theatre and entertainment complex in Downtown Birmingham. The old Birmingham Theatre across the street from this new one is still open.
It is quite an interesting building with an usual shape and form. I find it hard to describe it.
Sorry for my lack of vocabulary. There seems to be a lot of styles in one building. Commercialism, post modernism, classicism...
"Glamour", I guess is the right word to describe it. I like the color of the building too, very stately and "up class".
This building has multiple facades. Its shape follows the shape of the site.

Good hub. Your comment above was too kind. The Palladium is one of the ugliest buildings I've ever seen! The exterior is too busy, and the Inscriptions along the top of the facade are corny. Inside the theaters are reasonably functional. The seats are comfortable and the sound is good.
