Meet Palm Pre, a phone that’s always thinking ahead to make your life easier. People, events, information that matters. With Palm Pre, it'll come to you.
Palm Pre
The Palm Pre is one of the newest phones to hit the cell phone market. The motto: Thinking ahead, is because the Palm Pre is a sync phone. In other words, the Palm Pre promises to sync your life up with your phone. The Pre allows users to get what they need from one stop, along with added intutive features.
The Palm Pre is a slim line phone with a slide down full keyboard. The Palm Pre features a 380x420 touch screen and a 3 megapixel camera to take great photos. The Pre is able to connect via a WiFi connection and is bluetooth ready. The Pre works with stereo bluetooth headphones and speakerphones.
The Palm Pre has 8GB of onboard storage with no memory card slot. You can charge the Pre by using a USB port or by wireless connection. From the launcher you can arrange icons any way you like. The feature that stand out is the cut and paste. Now you can view content on a website and cut and paste it in an email to a friend.
If you had a PalmOS don't worry. you can install and run old PalmOS apps with a 3rd party emulator that is available for download. The Palm Pre supports SMS, MMS, AIM, and Google Talk for IMs (instant messaging). From the Pre you can view document in office and PDF format. Pre also allows users to view YouTube videos, Sprint TV and Spring NASCAR.
The Palm Pre can pull data from Microsoft Exchange, Facebook and Google. When data is pulled it is color coded so you know where the data was pull from. For example-- Google green, Facebook blue, Exchange orange. Get the point. Pulling data also applies to your email accounts, which includes emails from Microsoft Exchange and Gmail.
