Ok, this is my third Panasonic wet / dry shaver in about 5 years, and by far, this is the best so far. I have experimented with other manufacturers' shaver over the years, including Brauns, Norelcos and Grundig razors, but I have finally found nirvana, ok, not quite nirvana, but a very pleasant experience with the Panasonic shaving razor. I love Panasonic shavers, because I like to be able to shave in the shower with an electric shaver and a bit of glycerin based shaving cream (Gilette Series foam in the long silver tube best for me and not chewing gum, razors as gels do). I swear, this unbeatable combination (ie, steam shower, Panasonic wet / dry shaver and foam Gilette Series) I shaved closer than even the best blades, Gilette offers (currently, the merger Gilette), with much less trouble and without annoying little cuts for striking places in my face and / or neck.
Just to check my first Panasonic wet / dry was great and served me well for about 3 years, but if the Panasonic models came a few years ago with the Vortex-treatment plants, I just had to have one, so I moved on The model ES8078 wet / dry shaver. The ES8078 served me well for a year - and-a-half - until I went badly, that boys in the shower at the start of this week! 'Nuf said. It did not break into a zillion pieces or anything, but the engine only work no more. (It is actually quite funny, because I was so preoccupied with ensuring that the retention of razors anything, because I do at home, blaming my wife for the poor even to be wrong, and then my dumb ass drop the dang , was in the shower. AAARGHHHH!) Anyway, after a brief general overview of the beginning of the line razors from different manufacturers currently available (including the new Brown Pulsonic models), I decided to go for the latest offering Panasonic. Even if the new Brauns costs 100 US dollars more than the Panasonic, the engines are even slower, and you still can not shave with 'em wet. For the uninitiated, higher engine speed faster moving blades = = = less friction less anger. Panasonic always have the highest engine speed in each electric shaver.
I have shaved with the new shaver ES8109S for a few days now, and my first impression after the first shave was that I have a very close shave (in line with the performance of my Panasonic before), and try to understand this, I FEEL face, as if I had just shaved. It may seem a little strange, but you know how your face feels sensitive to the touch after you usually shave? Well, the feeling, at least for me, was much less obvious after shaving with the new Panasonic. Heck, maybe it's the new curved blade and slide assembly, which reduces irritation or something. In this respect, the new Panasonic ES8109S actually surpasses the previous top of the line with (ES8078) and actually causes much less than the shaving irritation model (which itself was irritating, not all at the beginning). Also, as the previous models, with little pop-up trimmer on the side of the new shaver is great, not only for trimming sideburns (which I actually never for them), but also for the collection of this awkward little hair, the flat or Eingewachsen May will be. The latest model is also quieter than the last model, and has a significant feeling, whereas it.
Oh, one more thing, the ES8109S Panasonic comes with the latest iteration of the vortex cleaning and charging station, which is slightly different from his models, but it seems to have the same cleaning cartridge. The Vortex quietly cleans, lubricates and even full loads your shaver for you (alternatively, you can simply connect the power cable for the Vortex directly into the shaver to recharge). The cleaning / lubricants and the Vortex solution consists of a slim cartridge with a detergent based solid, "activated" when it is mixed with water, in the vortex. The cleaner is not alcohol-based, so that it does not evaporate in the course of time as the cleaning solution Braun has - along with the money you spend its large, expensive supplies.
In summary, which I highly recommend, Panasonic shaver ES8109S people like me with sensitive skin, prone to irritation (I know you think, "Why did he not just say that from the beginning?") Hope this helps review !
