As promised on my Many Charms of Pandora hub, here's the first in a series of hubs all about the different types of Pandora charms available, and how you can best wear them.

Remember those old alphabet bracelets you used to wear? Well, chances are you did wear one at some point as they have been all the rage from time to time.

Pandora bead jewelry has taken the alphabet bracelet to a new level.

Each letter of the alphabet is available as either Sterling silver beads, or silver and gold. The silver letter is on a black triangular background, The silver and gold version features one gold letter on black background, surrounded by similar styled silver letters, in the regular bead shape.

Of course the most usual idea is to spell out your name using the Pandora alphabet beads, or the name of someone you are buying the Pandora beads for as a gift. They can be assembled nicely in the middle of the bracelet itself.

Other ideas include using these Pandora bracelet charms to spell the initials of your favorite football club, your college, your own initials, or anything else that you would like to spell out.

In fact you can use the letters to personalize a bracelet to spell a name, initials or whatever is meaningful to you. Perhaps you have a favorite location, town or resort that you would like to remember--spell it out. Maybe you want to be reminded of your favorite pet--spell it out!

You can even collect more letters of the alphabet, so that you can change the letters on your bracelet as you wish, depending on what you want to remember, or on the occasion.

Silver Pandora charms cost around $25, whereas the more expensive gold and silver beads cost somewhere around $80.

I think my preference is the Gold and Silver bead, as the gold provides a very nice contrast to the surrounding black and silver, and makes the letters stand out even more. When placed on your Pandora charm bracelets, they look the nicest if you can line up all of the gold letters in a row to spell out the word or initials. This does look very classy and unique.
