Pantry Makeover

Most people are thinking about changes they want to make for the coming year. So if you're planning on changing your diet, loosing weight, or just want better health in the coming year, why not consider a pantry makeover?

I find that while I can walk past the potato chips and ice cream in the grocery store, if they're in my pantry temptation will usually win. It doesn't matter if you have a walk-in butler's pantry or a single cabinet. Storage and organization are key in your nutrition goals.

A pantry makeover is the best way to eliminate junk food from your diet. When you know what you have, you can better plan your meals and are less likely to find yourself hungry with no plan on what to eat. That's how you end up at a fast food restaurant--failure to plan.

An organized pantry will tell you at a glance what you have and what needs to be stocked. Once organized, you'll be able to quickly see if you need more salad dressing, spices, etc. You'll also find that you save money because you don't end up buying doubles of what you already have.
