100 Peso bill = 1000 Pesos
A printing error was commited then by the Central Bank of the Philippines. Instead of printing ARROYO which stands for the last name of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, it is printed as ARROVO.
I have seen an actual Arrovo bill and its fascinating. My friends once told me that this "error bill" costs 1000 Philippine Pesos. It is ten times bigger than the actual price.
It's great to know that even in errors and mistakes, we found nice things also.
Now, this mistake has been turned to a collector's item. I guess the value of this bill will get higher by the next ten years or so.

These bills are still legal tender. But it was the first time in Philippines History that the president name was misspelled and thus was subject to controversies.
Millions of them had been printed in France. And the meaning "rovo" or "robo" rather, in Spanish means robbery.~lol.
Less of 1000 pieces of Arrovo bills, had been issued in the market without the prior knowledge of the Central Bank. They only noticed it when employees withdraw their salary from the BSP. And the defective bills in their vault were shredded.
Therefore, they became rare and great collectors item.
Did you know that we also have a 500 peso coin which was limited to only 5000 pieces issued in 1999. And a mistake too was made in the scientific name of the Pithecophaga jefferyi, the eagle, on the 50 centavos coin issued 1983. There are considered collectors items too.

Ther are actually a lot of paper money collectors who collect mainly error bills, so definitely bills like these can become very valueable down the line as observed by a couple of commentators. Collecting paper money is such fun, for so many reasons.
