Parade Floats Have Wonderful Themes
69The Talent That Goes Into Making A Float
Watching a parade with a variety of displays is fascinating. I love to see the designs that people are able to create. Years ago while touring some caverns, included was a building filled with floats from old Orange Bowl parades. They are amazing seen up close with no hurry that you might miss something.
Some of the different floats had rabbits in a wagon, a huge indian chiefs head, Gigantic butterfly, huge eagle, ducks and many more. Just came across these photos again and thought I would share them.
I have children that I took to many parades, but nothing like these fancy floats. I'm not sure that they even were as delighted and fascinated as myself with them. Maybe it is the creative mind I have that is constantly in motion(if only it would go from my mind to my hands). I always have so many projects going, sewing, knitting, ACEO's, and photography(love making note cards from my photos).
