Quakers are similar in size to the cockatiels, although they are a bit stockier than cockatiels are. They will live somewhere between 20 and 30 years.

Quakers are sometimes referred to as gray-breasted parakeets or as monk parrots. They are primarily green with a blue tinge on the primary wing and tail feathers. Their cheeks, throat, forehead and breasts have a pale gray color.

Quaker parrots make a great pet for those that want a small, intelligent parrot with good talking abilities.
