I always have been a reader and I was always a Vanilla type mostly going for realistic books and sweet authors such as Johanna Lindsey, Kathleen E. Woodiwiss and so forth. In 2008 I was introduced to Christine Feehan and I was hooked , The fresh plots and cleverly cultured twists had me hooked. When I came to the last page of the last book that she completed and I faced a bleak year for the next edition I started looking for more. I felt like I was going through a withdrawl and jumped straight into the arms or imagination of Sherrilyn Kenyon she wowed me I was swept high and hurled accross the pages. After a long affair with Kenyon I started getting itchy again and experimented with lora Leigh.

Her books are challenging fresh and quite engaging, I read about the menages and the complexaties of sharing. She also has a section where magic is the spoken language and spells are commonplace and natural. The deep rooted message is always love conquers all and that the hero and heroine are called to be with each other in a primal basic way. It was magical read the product of such gifted imagination.

I completed the book" When Wizards Rule "and Wanted more and When I learned I will have to wait a year for the Veressi Twins (Menage a oh yeah). I moved on to Jaid Black and OH MY WORD she was sooo amazing. Her books are based on the deeper part of love and the dark part of intamacy you guessed it Dominant males, bondage and clever pleasure devices all form part of the , still romantic, plot. The Trek Mi Quan series on Science Fiction Erotica is a must read for those looking for a page turner that will leave you gasping for breath.

The Hero's are primal, animalistic and extremely dominant with telekinetic powers to boot. The heroines are fiesty, naughty and far from the docile womes they crave so the plot is explosive and Sweet with a dash of spicy cinnamon to add that flair.

.So it looks like no more vanilla for me.
