Paranormal and ESP Experiences

Since I was little I always knew there was something different about me. Something that most people wouldn't or couldn't understand. I never talked about my paranormal and/or ESP experiences when I was younger. I didn't understand what I was experiencing, so how could anyone else. This revelation caused me to read anything and everything that I could get my hands on regarding the paranormal, the occult, UFO's, or the like. I wasn't a very social child and I was teased quite often, so I just attributed all that teasing to people thinking I was weird. Heck, I thought I was weird....LOL. I certainly didn't understand what I was going through. But then, through all the research I did on these subjects, I realized I was born with a gift. Several gifts in fact. I finally came to this realization and embraced my differences.

One of the most memorable traits I have are my dreams that come true. I've had dreams that have come true since I was a little girl. I've mentioned my dreams about the UFO's in one of my other hubs and how those dreams were actually premonitions. I also had several dreams about my mother's death. This dream was the same and I had it often. I was always afraid of this dream. I guess it was because I wouldn't know what to do if I ever lost my mother. I was very young when those dreams started. While I didn't realize it was a premonition then, when my mother died, I realized that my dreams of her death were premonitions. I have also had dreams where a friend or family of mine will be pregnant and I'll have a dream that tells me whether it's a boy or girl. I have always been 100% accurate with those dreams.

When I was a teenager, I would have dreams that my boyfriend was cheating on me. If I had the dream only once, it wasn't a premonition, it was more like my own fears. If I had the dream several times, it was definitely true because I'd find out soon after having the third dream that my boyfriend was cheating on me. A boyfriend I had when I was 16 would be gone quite often because of traveling he did for snow skiing competitions. Whenever I had three dreams that he was coming back to town, within two days, he'd be calling me. We never kept in touch while he'd be gone, so it wasn't like I knew from his calls that he would be coming back.

Many times in the past, and it still occurs to this day, I've been able to communicate with famiy or really close friends through telepathy. Sometimes it freaks them out when I answer the phone and say Hi and refer to them by name even though they hadn't yet said a word. I do not have caller ID on my phone either. If my boys are away (they are in their 20's) and I haven't heard from them or cannot get ahold of them. I will say their name and tell them to call me. Within 30 minutes I will get a phone call from the one I was needing to hear from. I do this with my 17 year old daughter as well. Sometimes she doesn't respond as quickly as her brothers do, but she'll call within an hour or sooner. If I get a feeling that one of my kids is going to call, within 10 or 15 minutes the phone rings and it will be them.

My kids have never been afraid of my gifts. They know that if I have a bad feeling or I have a bad dream about one of them, they will take my warnings to heart. They understand that my gift for 'knowing' things is just a part of living with a mother who has always had these experiences. My son, Brandon, passed away when he was 10. After his death, he would always come into my dreams. He'd be a regular 10 year old boy, walking, talking, playing; just being a boy. He died of a rare disease that attacked him at the age of 5 and completely took his whole boyhood away. It took away his ability to walk and talk and to play like a regular boy. He couldn't eat or drink, he was fed through a tube. He was in constant pain. Seeing him be a normal 10 year old boy in my dreams was heaven. I knew and felt that he was ok, so I was worried about him anymore.

He laughed with me in my dreams, talked with me, played with me. We did all the things that he couldn't do as a 10 year old. I just loved seeing him that way and we made up for lost time in my dreams. Finally, one night he crawled up onto my lap and he hugged me with all his strength. I could feel his love. He asked me if I knew why he came to me in my dreams and I said no. He told me that he came to my dreams to tell me that he loved me and to get hugs and kisses. It was such a heartfelt and loveable gesture. His answer made me cry like any mother would when missing a child who died and I woke up still crying. However, I felt peaceful inside and knew he was ok. After that dream, I never had another dream with him in it again. I believe he was letting me know he was ok where he was at and that he needed to help me come to peace with his death.

These are only some of the things that I've experienced throughout my life. There are many more I could tell you, but I could be writing forever. One thing I will mention before I close on this article is that many times I will know things minutes before they occur. There have been many times that something has popped into my head such as falling down a flight of stairs and within minutes I will fall down a staircase. It's like my mind knows when things are going to occur and it will warn me. It's an interesting gift, or should I say gifts, that I have. One that many people wouldn't or couldn't understand, but as long as I'm ok with my gifts, then that's all that matters. If you're different, embrace it. It just means that you are who you are and that there's no one else like you.
