Sometimes I feel sorry for Paris Hilton.

Okay,thats a lie..I don't feel sorry for Paris Hilton.

She wanted to be famous so she literally sold her soul to the devil and now she is famous and possibly one of the most hated people in the world.But thats not why I've created this "Paris Hilton Gets 45 Days In Jail" page..I'm writing about Paris because last night as I watched the media fall all over each other to report about her sentence,I couldn't help but wonder if there is nothing else in the world more important than reporting about a spoiled hotel heiress getting jail time for basically violating the law.Sure her lawyers argue the city of Los Angeles is trying to make an example out of her but she's not exempt from punishment.She broke the law.

Paris Hilton's trouble started in September 2006 when she was pulled over and arrested in Hollywood for alcohol-related reckless driving.In January, she was fined $1,500 and sentenced to 36 months probation for that offense.That very same month,she was pulled over again and busted for driving with a suspended license. Paris claimed to be ignorant of the suspension, police let her go.

On February 27, she was nabbed for speeding and driving without her headlights. This time, Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies charged Paris Hilton with violating her probation.

On Friday afternoon,a Los Angeles Superior Court judge sentenced Paris Hilton to 45 days in jail.

Paris is expected to start her sentence on June 5.

Paris Hilton was born on February 17,1981 to Richard Hilton and Kathy Richards.She is an American socialite and a tabloid favorite.She is also an heiress to a share of the Hilton Hotel fortune.

Besides her wild partying ways,Hilton is known for her leading role on the reality series "The Simple Life".She is also known for her participation in a private home sex video made with former lover Rick Salomon.The film was leaked onto the internet in the late 2003 turning Paris Hilton into an instant "celebrity" worldwide.
