Parvathy Omanakuttan is the new Femina Miss India World 2008. The beauty pageant event took place in Mumbai on 5th April 2008.
The Miss India event also had scintillating performances by Bollywood divas Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Sameera Reddy
Hailing from Kerala, Parvathy Omanakuttan was crowned the winner of the PFMIS 2008. She is the proverbial beauty with brains. She also won the Miss Beautiful Hair title in the Miss India Contest.

this is one proud moment for all malayalis that parvathy has won the title. this is one slap in the face for those who think mallu females are the oily haired jasmine flowered gold ornament donning stereotypes epitomised by lolakutty( though i love lolakutty") but i must add that partvathy has a loong way to catch up with previous miss india's like sushmita sen who changed the way - the world looked at Indian woman.
Renfroo: If you take Aishwarya Rai or Sushmita Sen, they are intelligent and very beautiful, well balanced. I am not seeing those type of class in Parvathy or any one of those girls. Ofcourse we participate in any competition to win, not to just show up. I will be very proud if a girl from India won the Miss universe/world. It is very difficult to beat those beautiful Latin girls, North American, European girls. You need to have very unique personality.

I am happy that Parvathy has won this competition. I am also from the US. I am glad that she has come from kerala too. Not too many people even know that Kerala exists. Parvathy does not seem like miss world material but we will see. She is pretty but there are way prettier girls from Kerala. I totally agree with joeyful. I mean seriosuly. Every malayalie is proud of her. She does have really LONG way to go too.

Indian girls who are good looking with beautiful complexions and beautiful hair and teeth have also added that element to an already enviable bone structure of the face beautiful cheeks and the billions of dollars of facial expression and sex appeal.
Which I have observed lacks in all other races.
Indian girls really in general need to know to look beautiful is not vulgar but paramount.
They need to know that to look beautiful is not being a prostitute. Look at the great goddesses , Maha Durga, Shri Laxmi and Shri Saraswati. Their physical beauty is in parallel with their attributes
Indians in generall need to know the value of a clean and luminous skin and make it their business to be the owners of such a skin. They need to know about using deodorants and how to avoid carrying onion and garlic smell from the kitchen with them.
They need to know what having a proper bath is.
They need ot use body scrubbers to exfoliate themselves and use deodorants.
They need to know how to balance their vegetarian diet to add sparkle to their skin.
They need to know that voice intonation and elocution is very important for speech and for an all rounded effect of beauty
A beautiful skin, elecution, a toned figure and beautiful teeth are the 4 main steps to looking beautiful.
In reality those Indian women who pay attention to these small details are the most beautiful women in the world. I can proudly say that there is no beauty greater than Indian beauty.
Finally India desperately needs to get out of the rut of monopoly. Look what Lata Mangeshkar did to India never let a good artist come up and look at what we have ended up with.
Though Parvathy did not win Miss World she surely is lovely.

I am proud of Parvathy and knew that she is gonna make it. I did watch the whole Miss India contest and was quite impressed with her. Among all the others only she looked confident with a beautiful smile and gave very intelligent answer. Rest of them gave very dumb boring answers. I like her confident smile. Regarding beauty is concerned almost all of the bollywood stars did face surgery. If you have seen priyanka chopra on beauty pagent she looked horrible and ugly but now she looks hot. She also did nose surgery.
