Literature and poems are very important for the development any language. Pashto poetry of Afghanistan is a hinge, on which the entire language of Pashto developed. It is spoken by the majority 35% of the population and had gained significance in the hearts of non Pashto speakers. People started loving their generic and historic nature and started feeling great about it. Nowadays these poems are given a lot of life with music and lyrics. They are even downloaded as ring tones by the Pashto girls and boys.

Pashto Music and Women
Pashto music has an interesting background. Pashtun people love music and they are fond of interesting romantic songs. However, they hate musicians by nature. This is solely because of the nature of the work. Right from the historical time, they felt war and agriculture are the occupation to all men. However, musicians are those who have music have their profession just because they are not bold enough to get into war. This is the main thought of many individuals. However, this is not so. Musicians have been the tough people. Singers and musicians have been very strong over the year through wars and through peace. They have writing and singing on and on just surviving different situations. Especially being a female singer is not so easy in a country like Afghanistan and Pakistan were women were not given equal rights to that of a man. They should not be exposed to other man is the main theme behind these rule. Breaking this bondage and liberating into the world of music is our famous singer Naseebo Lal. She is been the desi singer for many years.
