My only daughter

Successor

Biblically, since the Old time it was God who told Moses to bring Aaron his brother to be his spokesman and to accompany him to face the Pharaoh in Egypt. God made Aaron a priest and his sons his helper priests and a successor.

Ex 40:12-16 - Then dress Aaron in the sacred garments, anoint him and consecrate him so he may serve me as priest. Bring his sons and dress them in tunics. Anoint them just as you anointed their father, so they may serve me as priests. Their anointing will be to a priesthood that will continue for all generations to come." Moses did everything just as the LORD commanded him. NIV

Our Priests, Pastors, Ministers nowadays are expected to do the same. Members in churches new that in times that the Priest, Pastor or Minister can no longer do the job, when they have grown & trained son or daughter, they are the one who is expected to be delegated.

That's why it is a must that the children of church leaders should be trained. It is really a great advantage in the Old times because God is talking in audible voice direct to Moses to delegate someone. The reason that even children would be very easy for them to follow because God said it.

Now in our times, we're basing on what the Bible said. So we need to teach our children while they are yet young. What is the Bible, The Word,  It's inspired by God and God is really the Author and He chosed writers for His Words. The Book. The Bible.  Writers are annointed by God gives us an advice as believers in Christ like them, wrote also some of their experiences where we could read and learn through it.

They need to be taught, give them time, attention, witness to them so that their spiritual life, their faith should be founded with truth.  Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by Word of God.  While they are young let them feel the power of God in His Words.  Learning these spiritual things from childhood will be fruitful. They will experience ups and downs in their own lives but the Word that has roots in their heart will prevail.

Give them a good example as a pastor or minister let your yes be yes and your no be no.  These future successor are watching you all the time.  When they feel the power of God while you preach, then they will remember that they needed the power of God when they do preach so they will start seeking more for God.

Remember the calling to be a minister or to serve God is suppose to be continues to all generations. This is the legacy that needs CARE.  Living a good and happy life in the Lord is enticing to the eyes of all successors.

Leaders Failure

1 Sam 3:11-14 - And the LORD said to Samuel: "See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle. At that time I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family-from beginning to end. For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons made themselves contemptible, and he failed to restrain them. Therefore, I swore to the house of Eli, `The guilt of Eli's house will never be atoned for by sacrifice or offering.'" NIV

Verses above says that Eli the priest failed to restrain his children. Under the law it's really painful when you're wrong then it's wrong.

Gal 3:24-25 - Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. KJV

Thank God we're under the grace, we have all the chances. It's only up to us how and when we're going to do what God has called us to do.

These are some of our Failures especially when husband and wife are partners in the work, because we are so busy in reaching the world to preach the gospel.

Childrens salvations sometimes becomes automated. We rely on nannies bedtime stories, preaching in the church, sunday school and church activities. When they grow up all of us thought that the kid is Christian because the kid is a pastor's kid. In a sense yes but we really don't know the heart of the kid.

We must remember not all people who grew in the church are really committed to follow the teaching in all his life. Unless somebody could reach to him personally make him understand what Christianity is all about, let the Holy Spirit guide him through and let him confess that he's willing to follow Jesus Christ like his parents's footsteps.

Childrens are usually left to the nannies. Ministers husband and wife who are often traveling for a preaching appointment, teaching seminars and in some other religious gatherings. Hope the nannies are soldout christian that is capable in rearing a pastors kid. Expert in serving nutritious physical and spiritual food.

Childrens in school without Parents support. PTA meeting delegated to the nannies and sometimes just ask somebody what comes out to the meeting. A child perform by himself and no one would cheer him up. The worse if parents just ask the child not to attend to the school extra curricular.

Childrens who longs for Mother and Father's love usually told to feel the love of God. Ask the children to understand them how hectic are their schedule anyway they follow Gods commandment. Even they failed to understand what their childrens need.

Childrens are assume to have a burden just as their parents burden. When the children shows that they're not into it, they are happy just to be a church goer. Members automatically point fingers on them.

Childrens are no freedom to be who they really are. "You can do this but not this" because you're a ministers or a pastor's kid. They are living on their parents ministries' standard. It was really a huge mistake to let our children carry the things what suppose to be our ministry.

Christian living means, we are committed to live to it. With our whole heart, with our whole mind and with our whole life. We can do this when we're happy doing it. We are called to do this.  This is what we need to do, check our children if they're happy of what we ask them to do.  And we'll pray until they will feel the call of God in their own life

Because if they're not happy, well they will follow us untill they are under our own roof. Growing up is what they are anxious to be. Can't wait that time to have freedom.  We can force them to do what we want and they will get into it, But if they didn't feel the call of God then the result will be painful.  When they fail, they will put the blame on us, on God and on himself.

Childrens of the Priests, Ministers, Missionaries, Evangelist, Teachers and Pastors, are successors to all their parents legacy, though we're not sure if they will continue the same ministry  their parents have.

They really need a lot of prayers, training and a lot of meditating, listening when the call of God is really there in their hearts.
