Patience
60
A name with which you have blessed me
On occasion, and it's true
It is a virtue
To see the end and be
Willing to wait for a few
Extra moments, days or weeks,
Even years to wait, for instance
A few days for an email from
My favorite person (albeit
With some
Difficulty)
Or a bit
More easily
When we used to dance
For you to finish before me
Or perhaps by chance
As 'teach' I do what I'm supposed
And wait for the 'student' answer the question posed
Of her own intent
For some of these you have called me 'patient'
Much to my joy, but in reality
I only see
In the end the most positive emotions blending
That's why from the joyfully anticipated ending
My patience originates
For me
The ending I most joyfully anticipate
Is a beautiful smile upon your lovely face

Now, this type of love is rare, though the most pure and real in unconditional ways. A true blessing to have! All the best!
Thank you Poetlorraine and Invictus! :)
"unconditional" love is the sickest expression of all.......
Interesting. Thank you, Graham.
who is Graham Bretton anyway
Well, he has used the pen names, Howard Roak and Rob Wurd...
He seems tainted by expressions of love and poems for Cris. :)
oh i see has he gone quiet for now

Your work is wonderful. If i was not so busy at work, i would spend all day reading everything you have written over and over..
