Pattaya is certainly the single mans paradise, but it’s also one of the most popular places to retire for westerners. You have beaches, bars and restaurants and the local Thais speak good English. Then you have the girls. Ah yes! The famous Pattaya girls!

Pattaya may just be the one place in the world with most attractive girls pr. square meter (or yard for you Americans). It just happens that Pattaya besides having all the amenities of a modern beach destination also attracts thousands and thousands of beautiful single Thai girls. Year after year they make their way to Pattaya to work, relax and party. And almost all of them come looking to meet a Western man.

There’s many reasons for this and it warrants an article of it’s own, but of course many are fed up with having to work for pennies in factories or slaving away in a rice paddie. They also lose faith in their countrymen, renowned for cheating and being lazy (their words, not mine!). But maybe more important is that they have seen their friends and family meet and marry Western men and see how successful many of those marriages are. Yes, there may be an age difference, but it’s not that important to them.

Of course, some Pattaya girls are not looking for a husband, just for some excitement and fun. They want the lifestyle, the partying, the sex, so they work in the bars, the gogo’s and the massage parlours, yet they don’t see themselves as ‘hookers’, they’re simply playing the game and having fun while they’re young.

It’s this carefree attitude that make Pattaya girls so much fun and so enjoyable to spend time with. It’s not just the hot sex, though that’s a given, it’s having fun, sharing good times and just enjoying life in the moment. And that’s why Pattaya continues to attract single men in droves.
